Just like any other muscle, to make your abs grow you must add resistance (weight) to your AB workout. Crunches with a medicine ball or plate. Cable Crunches from the High Cable pull, ab machines, Incline crunches, and leg lifts. All of these exercises will aid in developing your abs. But none of it will matter if your diet is not spot on!

If there was a fast way to build muscle everyone on this board will be 220 pounds at 8% b/f, point being there is no fast way.

Abs should respond like your other muscles to exercises, therefore progressive resistance should be applied.

I like Kneeling cable crunches http://www.exrx.net/WeightExercises/...ingCrunch.html

also try weighted situps (holding a weight against your chest or behind your neck, these can be down on a decline bench too.

Heres some more exercises http://www.exrx.net/Lists/ExList/Wai...l#anchor172895

Remember if you want to see your abs you need a lowish bodyfat level
