If there was a fast way to build muscle everyone on this board will be 220 pounds at 8% b/f, point being there is no fast way.
Abs should respond like your other muscles to exercises, therefore progressive resistance should be applied. I like Kneeling cable crunches http://www.exrx.net/WeightExercises/...ingCrunch.html also try weighted situps (holding a weight against your chest or behind your neck, these can be down on a decline bench too.
