Default I dislocated my shoulder....

This happened awhile ago, and it has since recovered. However, now when I bench press I get strange, really repulsive crunching sounds in that region, but no pain. Anything to be worried about here?

actually, it sounds more like this....

Somtimes patients with shoulder osteoarthritis hear or feel a crunching sound when they move their joint - but you should realise that this sort of noise is common and does not always indicate an underlying problem - it can occur in a perfectly normal joint. This noise is called crepitus.

You answered the question! crepitus is normal but none the less, have it checked out by a sports med specialist. They are used to injures, dislocations, and rehabilitation of those injures.
