hi, i just started working out 2 weeks ago, and i was hoping that someone could tell me if the work out routine i use is any good or not. i only have dumbells to work with so the whole routine is based on dumbbell only exercises.
if it helps any: i'm 17, 5' 7", 145 lbs. i do pushups and crunches everyday till failure. MONDAY Flat Bench Dumbbell Press (3 or 4 sets of 10-12 reps) Flat Bench Dumbbell Flyes (3 sets of 8-10) Incline Bench Dumbbell Press (3 or 4 sets of 8-10 reps) Dumbbell Concentration Curls (3 or 4 sets of 8-10 reps) TUESDAY Single Arm Dumbbell Rows (3 or 4 sets of 12 reps) Two Arm Hammer Dumbbell Rows (3 or 4 sets of 10) WEDNESDAY Dumbbell Lunges (3-4 sets of 12, 10, 8, 6 reps) Dumbbell Squats (3-4 sets of 12 reps) Supersetted With: Dumbbell Barbell Good Mornings (3-4 sets of 10-12 reps) Dumbbell Calf Raises (3-4 sets of 20 reps) THURSDAY Dumbbell Extensions (3 or 4 sets of 12 reps) Standing Single Arm Dumbbell Extensions (3 or 4 sets of 12 reps) Flat Bench Dumbbell Press (3 or 4 sets of 10-12 reps) Flat Bench Dumbbell Flyes (3 sets of 8-10) FRIDAY Seated Dumbbell Curls (3 or 4 sets of 8-10 reps) Dumbbell Concentration Curls (3 or 4 sets of 8-10 reps) Single Arm Dumbbell Rows (3 or 4 sets of 12 reps) i take saturday and sunday off^^ thanks for any help you can give :-) |

I think you need to put some rest days inbetween, and go with a routine, and pick exercies after that for each day to correspond to the muscles.
