Default Any Advice Appreciated :-)

hi, i just started working out 2 weeks ago, and i was hoping that someone could tell me if the work out routine i use is any good or not. i only have dumbells to work with so the whole routine is based on dumbbell only exercises.

if it helps any: i'm 17, 5' 7", 145 lbs.

i do pushups and crunches everyday till failure.

MONDAY

Flat Bench Dumbbell Press (3 or 4 sets of 10-12 reps)
Flat Bench Dumbbell Flyes (3 sets of 8-10)
Incline Bench Dumbbell Press (3 or 4 sets of 8-10 reps)
Dumbbell Concentration Curls (3 or 4 sets of 8-10 reps)

TUESDAY

Single Arm Dumbbell Rows (3 or 4 sets of 12 reps)
Two Arm Hammer Dumbbell Rows (3 or 4 sets of 10)

WEDNESDAY

Dumbbell Lunges (3-4 sets of 12, 10, 8, 6 reps)
Dumbbell Squats (3-4 sets of 12 reps)

Supersetted With:

Dumbbell Barbell Good Mornings (3-4 sets of 10-12 reps)
Dumbbell Calf Raises (3-4 sets of 20 reps)

THURSDAY

Dumbbell Extensions (3 or 4 sets of 12 reps)
Standing Single Arm Dumbbell Extensions (3 or 4 sets of 12 reps)
Flat Bench Dumbbell Press (3 or 4 sets of 10-12 reps)
Flat Bench Dumbbell Flyes (3 sets of 8-10)

FRIDAY

Seated Dumbbell Curls (3 or 4 sets of 8-10 reps)
Dumbbell Concentration Curls (3 or 4 sets of 8-10 reps)
Single Arm Dumbbell Rows (3 or 4 sets of 12 reps)


i take saturday and sunday off^^

I think you need to put some rest days inbetween, and go with a routine, and pick exercies after that for each day to correspond to the muscles.

There are PLENTY of exercies to do with only dumbbells to hit all muscle groups.

Also, you shouldnt do abs, or any other muscle two days in a row. Always give a muscle an entire day inbetween before you work it agian.
