, it helps strengthen your ankles also. My strength shoe workout is only like 15-20 minutes and I got great results, only did it 2-3 times a week, mostly 2 times. This plus loosing some fat helped me jump from a 4.81 40 to a 4.62, was timed at a 4.59 but hard to believe lol 40 next year.
My routine I did: (15 yards length for each-walking back to start line would be my break)
*High Knees 3X15 Yrds.
*Quick Skips 3x15 Yrds.
*Power Skips 3x15 Yrds.
*Back Peddle Burnout(no break) Back and Forth 4 times 15 Yrds each way.
*Tuck Jumps 3x15 Jumps
*Square Drill 3x15 Reps
