Unhappy Am i doing it right?

Ok... I am 15 years old, 6'1 and about 140-150 pounds.

I have a workout plan. I have not put on a pound and it is starting to get depressing. For an example of one element i do 5-6 minutes every day of 3 sets of 10 bisep curls at 33 pounds. I feel like this is not enough because half an hour later i want to do it again so i can regain the tention that had faided away. Am i overtraining or am i undertraining? when i extend my hands at 180 deg i feel like a soreness. My shoulder feel a sorness to. And i have been training for 10 weeks. Right know my arm/bisep is 13 inches.

How much stress should i put on my bisep and how often thanx...

Ok man,

For starters man "BiCep" and you should do 6 sets for your biceps because its a small muscle group. Your gonna wanna find out how much weight you can do a maximum of 8-12 times.... So if you can curl a 40 11 times max, use a 40 and goto failure, then grab a 45 and try to curl it to failure, hoepfully 8-10 times.... then do 4 more sets, 2 preacher bar curls, and 2 hammer curls.....??? Research man

You should always give each muscle an entire day in between workouts for each muscle to let them recover, and while the muscle is recovering is when you actullly make the size/strength gains. You must rest, dont hit any muscle 2 days in a row, this includes abs.

Oh, and yes you are overtraining doing curls everyday, which is why you are sore, give it a rest tell you are not sore, you should wait tell you recover to lift w/ any particular muscle.

You should do some research, this site is full of great information if you look.

First of all ~ why are you only doing biceps?
The reason most people only do a certain amount of bicep work is because they also work their biceps when doing back work.
The same goes for triceps getting worked when doing chest work.

You really should start training your whole body or you are going to start looking a little 'strange'....

First of all you are probably not eating enough. If you are not gaining it would be because of the following factors: Diet, sleep and routine. You have a lot of reading to do.

By the sounds of your "routine" it sucks.

When you workout blood gets pumped into the muscle groups you are working. This creates a pump. The pump starts to go away shortly after working out. This does NOT mean that you would workout again as soon as the pump fades away. You have torn muscle fibres doing the curls, now you let them rest (for 1-2 days) and grow.

Post up the routine you are doing now, we don't really have enough info to point you in the right direction.
