Default 3 times a week

from what ppl have told me you should just do about 30 minutes of cardio 3-4 times a week and that should work for you.

I agree, 3 to 4 times a week. 2 to 3 miles would be better. Not much more. Try and get a good 20 to 30 minutes of running. Once a week, throw in some interval training. For example go to a track and run 2 laps at 80% of max speed then for half a lap run full out. Do this 4 times (10 laps) it will kick the sheet out of you. Heh.

Also look into the zig zag diet. Cut your BMR by 300 to 500 kcals a day and don`t cheat. Its hard but stick to it. I lost 25 lbs by doing that for 3 months. Its a safe and effective way. Starving yourself just makes your body more efficinent at storing calories.

Keep weights to maintenance levels. Your muscle density will help you in burning calories. Lifting heavy will only cause your body to demand food for refueling.

Hope this helps
Cheers.
