Many people in here say that they are doing a lot of working on growth and some are seeing results ,but I think the reason many are not seeing results is because the Taboo you all have put on working a muscle in your workout to many days without resting. But by working your muscle it can provide your muscles with a better environment to grow. A muscle grows from 3 things
1.It must be stimulated to grow via some kind of overload(heavy workout) 2. It must be given the oppotunity t grow by providing the right conditions for recovery, which will allow it to grow. 3. it must be provided with the protein and nutrient it needs to repair and enlarge. So by working your muscle the next day it get rid of waste products from the muscle breaking down and through a light weght high rep workout you can allow for blood flow to carry these away and transfer protein to the muscle to help recovery. So through a light weight high rep workout your muscle gets rid of things that will inhibit its growth and gains things that help growth. |

I THINK SOMEONE JUST GOT WAY OVERLY EXCITED!
Seriously man, calm down with the all caps thing there. BTW, i know many powerlifts, ya, the strongest guys in the world, that would disagree with you. Your plan may work for....I dont know, my grandmother, whatever, but it doesnt make much sense I work my chest every 4 or 5 days, and usually only do 4-5 sets on my chest on those days. Thats only like, thats around 25 sets on my chest per week. I knwo alot of people that do 2 or 3 times that much and dont make gains like I do. My point is, I am not so sure your everyday thing will work. My chest gets its nutrients and grows just fine. |

2. Exactly..right conditions..by not overworking muscle fibers everyday. 3. Agreed. Where is your evidence of any of what you said after that? If you ask me..the BEST way to filter anything out of your muscles that would inhibit growth and gains would be WATER. Since its the fastest thing that the body moves throughout and helps carry toxins out of the body. So you do a heavy workout and build up lactic acid, then the next day you do more to build up more lactic acid? That doesnt seem right.
