we do this everyday before weightlifting practice. crunches non stop for 2 minutes. 2 minutes of twisting crunches. one side at a time so we do a total of 4 minutes for obliques. then do "6 inches" by holding your feet up 6 inches in the air for 20 seconds for 10-12 reps. you DEFINATELY are gonna have to do a good bit of reps to build. like nike says....just do it!

My coach always used to say 10 good crunches is better then 100 ****ty ones. Make sure to keep your abs squeezed when you crunch and try going slower too, really focus on the crunch and squeeze..Ive seen people try and rep tons out but with ****ty form they get hardly anything out of it.

You should look into purchasing a medicine ball it doesnt have to real heavy. You can do alot of workouts using a medicine ball. I know it is used everyday in the summer workout program for football that im in. If you get bored while working out trying listen to some music to get you ''pumped up'' it always seems to do the trick for me anyway. Some people just want it more that others too. Just dont quit or give up.
