Well to start, in order to lose the belly fat and see chest definition cardio and proper diet are a must. Keep lifting, but focus on the other aspects as you need to lose fat to see muscle.

As for cardio, it is basically raising your heart rate for an extended period of time. If you have a treadmill or anything of the sort try a HIIT routine. Search the forums and you will learn about them. Punching bags can be a great way to get cardio in also. If you have no equpiment, you may have to run or walk outside.

For your diet, i would start by cutting out all soda and sugary liquids. Drink water all the time. Also, try eating smaller portions but eat 5-6 times a day. This will help keep your metabolism going.

Other than that, just eat smart. Good Luck.

I kind of normal day for me is this.

1 - 8 hardboiled eggs/whites only bagel, oatmeal
2 - grilled chicken on whole grain bun
3 - spinach wrap stuffed w/ chicken, beans, rice, lettuce, tomato
4 - hopefully a steak, potatoe, and salad
5 - tuna w/ cottage cheese
6 - maybe some more tuna before bed, glass of milk, cottage cheese maybe

I try to start cutting carbs out the last 2 or 3 meals as i get closer to bed. I only drink 8 ozs of gatorade druing my workout, water the rest of day, with some milk before bed. thats about it. If i snack it is on soybeans or almost (no salt), or some cottage or string cheese

I eat nowhere close to that wnx lol. I usually have chicken for lunch, protein bars as snack, more chicken for dinner and cereal for breakfast. Omega 3,6,9 and a multi-vitamin in the morning and after workout. Also a pwo shake.

I have started powerlifting training lately. Mainly just core movements, low volume, but relaly heavy stuff. My hunger has shot through the roof. I am so hungry all the time. Today I had 8 eggs and 3 french toast for breakfast. After my first class, 1.5 hours after breakfast, i was really hungry again, and had 5 eggs sausage and a biscuit. I just dont get it, but I am growing, and atually losing fat. Plus I am already 240 pounds, so that makes a difference too.

Also, multi and flax oil are important like builder said. I take a multi and about 2 or 3 grams of flax oil a day. I also take ginko and green tea extract, vitamin C and zinc pills. I like being immune to stuff, lol.
