Hey there, I am 15 years old about 6 ft tall 145 lbs. I have been lifting for a short while now, and read your post. Typically I do over train my self on a daily basis... Lol i probobly lift 4 time a wekk and run 6 or 7, i try to stay in good cardio shape. I am interested in starting to bodybuild or define my muscle tone whatever you want to call it. I already eat an adaquete diet, probobly a little high in fat, not enough proteins, i stay off soda and sugary beverages, and i probably drink about 2 gallons of water a day(sometimes i piss like 3 times in an hour on a bad day... lol) I like to stay hydrated. But anyways, after reading your post i was hoping maybe you could recomend a weekly workout, maybe some supplements that you find helpful for you. Anything on that order. Thanks for your help

Thank you so much, Bulk! Finally, a forum that clearly tells us what to do in simple words and not just generalizations! I've been lifting for a few months now and now realize I have been doing most things right, but there are a few things that I guess I need to change. Just wanted to say thanks!

add a little bit of fat to your diet as well as fruits and vegetables. fat helps transport some of those important vitamins and fruits and vegetables will give you some as well. sounds like you are trying to eat too lean. just make smart choices about the kind of foods that you eat.

Thanks for the posts bulk.
BTW. ironman might not be pushing it that much, im sure he is at least nearing 100 pounds over his own bodyweight for bench. I know a sixteen year old whose 165 or so, five eleven and can bench 315. NVM, he's only been lifting a few months, so yeah he's gotta be pushing it. Last edited by Buff14; 08-03-2005 at 10:35 PM. |
