Talking comparisons of maxes (really just bragging)

i am 15, weigh about 195 pounds and here are my maxes flat bench:155, incline bench: 140, millitary press: 105, squat: 295, power clean: 160, deadlift:425.

i have also been working out consistantly for about 7 weeks.

How can you call this bragging? I mean it's alright but I'm not even twenty pounds heavier than you and my max is 100 pounds more. I maxed at 255, squatted 335 (long legs) dead lifted 430. I guess you're "alright" I wouldn't consider this that great, I have a friend whose 140 and maxes at 190 and he's 15 as well. Don't get a big head of yourself. With my numbers I'm still not satisfied, I still need to get faster and have more endurance.

Sounds good man! Despite what anyone says, if you're doing the best you can, than you should be proud of it. One of the most important things to learn is to not get discouraged. Don't get put off by other people benching heavier than you. If you like doing what you do, than keep at it.

Looks good to me...

Your dead and squat is good if they are done with a free barbell style.. hell they are great either way for a 15 year old.

Don't worry about the chest, I find if anything is slow to develope it's chest.. just gota put your time in, and it will grow... and bare in mind you'll be growing alot in the next few years aswell.

Hmmm.. I'll have to max my dead lift in the next 4 weeks or so.. I just started doing them again, so far I'm good for 315 for 12 reps. you got me motivated. thanks.

some things that have been writen here are just weird really - especially the most of my mates can do better thing - a 425lb deadlift after only 7 weeks of training, at only 15 years old, AND sub 200lbs, is more than freaky - its about 5000 x better than 'alright' - your deadlift could very well double in the next couple of years if you train hard and eat right - which would make it 850lbs

practically nobody pulls that kind of weight after a life time of training, so if you are lifting these weights, then stick with it - ego is a dangerous thing, dont let it get the better of you

I set a michigan high school recored last year with 79 recieving/rushing touchdowns. also had 300 tackles. but im not bragging cause im a hardass like buff14

i repeat, not another bench thread. this gay bashing crap comes up everytime. People, who gives a crap if you can bench 85lbs or 450 lbs? good for you. how does your body look? if you can bench 450, you might be a huge fat ugly guy. bodybuilding isnt for strength, its for sculpting your body for optimum looks, and figure, not how much you can bench. ehh, screw this.
