The US is so deep in its own **** right now... its been in this position for years.

The CIA has existed for as long as the US has been in financial trouble. If it wasnt for the CIA, the US would probably be trillions more indebt, not to mention the debt their in and that has not been accounted for.

The US is fuked and has been for a while.

I agree. Politicians get busted all the time for utilizing taxpayer's money for personal purposes. Politicians just might be worse at budgeting expenses than a shopaholic 15 year old girl with credit cards.

Their war in iraq is sucking a huge amount of money...hopefully they will vote for a change and go for democrats...

Which makes absolutely no sense...because even IF we take COMBAT troops out of Iraq, we will still be there supporting the Iraqi people and their government, and we will also be spending large amounts of money to help them re-build their country. So really...the best idea is to just do what needs to be done, and do it right the first time..because if we mess up now then it's going to cost even more in the future.

Not trying to sound like an @ss here, but you are spending huge amount of $$$ to rebuilt something that you have destroyed. It's your mess so now you have to clean it up. But you're right when you say it's going to cost even more in the future - that is whatever you stay there or not...
