Why a liberal in office?

if you are one of the 40% of americans who dont pay taxes i can understand why you want another liberal in office. What I can’t understand is why do you tax-paying liberals want Hill or Obama. The taxes that will be raised will come out of your pocket as well as mine. The 40% who don’t pay taxes could care less. They have everything to gain. They depend on handouts so their standard of living will be greater.
We already have universal healthcare. Just go to any emergency room and see how far you get. If you are really hurt, you may have to wait for care right behind someone with a cold. Why do you think so many emergency rooms are closing. They treat nothing but deadbeats who will not get a decent job that has healthcare coverage because they would have to work for a living.

You liberals . . . please explain to me why you have no PRIDE. Are you for real? I guess that as long as you don’t have to work, etc. you are willing to put another liberal in office.


Wake up America before the 40% of non-paying citizens become 50 or 60%. Yes it’s time for a CHANGE. It’s time for you liberals to give something back instead of taking everything you can.

+1. Hilliary was the "Healthcare Czar" for 8 years while Bill was banging interns in the Lincoln Bedroom and West Wing bathroom, and never, never got anything done with the program. She still can't fully explain her plan, which she's now had over 15 years to formulate. But she harps it over and over on the campaign trail. I'll explain it. More opportunities for freeloading oxygen thieves who don't work because they are too fat and lazy, or that have 11 kids from 9 fathers, or are here illegally, etc. HC and BO will both expand FAILED governmental programs such as welfare. BO has ZERO qualifications to be Commander in Chief other than the fact that he is a good speaker. Uhhh, Bill Clinton was a good speaker too, but at least he had some real qualifications aside from that. Someone tell me what BO has done? I'm waiting. Yeah - thought so. And HC? Sponsored (not co-sponsored) anything significant? Led anything significant? Accomplished anything without shady dealings, killing off witnesses, etc.? Nope.

Ugghhh, what a horrible selection the Dems came up with. You guys had 8 years to figure something out and this is the best you can offer. The DNC is a complete and utter failure.

im not trying to get a president who readily admits he isnt so great at the economic stuff but he is good at going to war. ive had enough of meddling with other countries. its time we fix our own country and stop being everywhere at once.

So you're viable alternative at this particular time is what? The President doesn't exactly control the economy in the first place - that Democratic Congress has a much larger role. Speaking of financial issues here - anyone else see the article in the Washington Post on Hilliary being one of the biggest EARMARK offenders? Something to the tune of 320+ Million bucks in earmarks that she has attached to various bills? SHE LOVES SPENDING OTHER PEOPLES MONEY. McCain - $0 in earmarks - he is fundamentally against it.

In addition to all the money they spend on entitlements and handouts, now the Dems are gonna start throwing money around in the name of Global warming. What a complete waste. Ive had it with liberal politics. Theyve taken censorship to a new level in the last 10 years. They try to get into every facet of your personal life. Theyre trying to make government bigger, not smaller. And now theyre all becoming a bunch of Socialists. No way ill even consider voting dem in this election. Once again the republican is gonna be the lesser of 2 evils.

Whats wrong Mitch - you don't want to pay for Sheniqua's 11 kids to have a dental/medical plan? You don't want to pay that 525 lb dude down the street to stay home because he can't fit in a car to drive to work (so he's disabled)? You'd actually like to see some of the automakers in Michigan get MORE tax breaks to be able to hire more people, produce better products in shorter times to better compete with imports? You don't want to see US companies employing nearly 1 million people in India? You don't want to give immunity to 12 million illegal immigrants who are freeloading and crippling the public school system, forcing their beleifs on us, asserting that perhaps all Americans should learn Spanish so we can better accomodate their illegal butts?

Truth be told, ive always voted Dem. I worked for Bill Clintons first presidential campaign *Gasp* as an intern in college and was even invited to the innagural ball. Still kicking myself for not going to that. But i cant take it anymore. no viable alternative. and im not saying i want to vote liberal either.

i am just tired of our country in general. the major cause of our debt is our relations in the rest of the world. we spend SO much money meddling in others business. We need to focus our time and our resources on internal problems. We need to get the boarders tightened up and keep any more illegals from entering the country, we need to get our economy going strong. We need to start getting rid of ALL of the debt we have.

I just have trouble supporting someone who says he doesnt believe the american people mind if we spend a hundred more years in Iraq. I mind, a lot of others mind as well. America is becoming a joke. Slowly, we are losing validity and beginning to look silly. I don't know why we think we need to fix everyones problems. I thoroughly believe we try so hard to be the moderators that we cause problems that might have never existed.

I agree guys. Pickens are slim. But when all you've got is turds to choose from, pick the shiny one. Right now, HC and BO are so busy knocking each other down they have no shine at all. While in the meantime, the GOP is shining the daylights out of their turd.

I predict Obama is the DNC choice, and gets slaughtered by facts before November even gets here because he is gonna be SO easy to crush due to lack of experience, lack of production, etc. He's a great speaker (using others words) but it won't be enough to be pretty and sweet.
