God Tube Video

Hey all! So God has been putting on my heart to share this video with as many people as possible and especially here, to be honest I have been fighting it a little bit and I don't really know why? I stumbled across this a few weeks ago and it really moved me. I have been a Christian for about 18 months now and was radically saved from a life of drugs and alcohol and everything else the world has to offer. This video displays who Jesus is and what he has done for each and every one of us, weather or not you belive in him. Those who are Christians know that God is real because you can feel him. Sure you cant see him, but we belive and because of that we have peace in the midst of the storms and Joy that is unexplainable in times of trouble.

I'm sure that this is going to start some controversy here, especially with the thread below this one, but watch it with an open mind and heart and let Jesus work in there. I can promise you this as someone who has not been a Christian there whole life. Accepting him and living for him has been the best decission I have ever made and will ALWAYS be the best. I dont have all the answers to life or God, but I do have a very real relationship with him and he wants that same intimacy for each and every one of us.

Im not christian, but that is a very good video. Very powerful ending. You can tell the people on stage were putting everything they believe in, into the "acting".

Controlling?? Do you think your in control of your life? Are you happy, or better yet Satisfied? Deep down inside of you? Still longing for more or something REAL? Just some questions? Answer them honestly to yourself of course.

Q: Am i in control of my own life?
A: No-one knows

Q: Am i happy?
A: No, (but then who is)

Q: Am i satisfied?
A: same as previous question.

Q: still longing for something more or real
A: Longing for something more, yes; define what is real??

I appreciate your honesty, and by your answers it sounds like your hungry for something. (Not Food!)
Have you ever had a relationship with your savior? Have you ever tried trusting God? Were you hurt by somebody or a church??...

My answers to the same questions are totally opposite than yours. And I will tell you this much, before I was a Christian I had the same exact answers as you. I was unsatisfied, unhappy, searching for something real, out of control, and thats why I turned to alcohol and drugs. They gave me a temporary satisfaction.

When you trust Jesus as your Lord and savior your life changes drasticly. A peace comes over you, because you know that God is in control of your life, you recieve this awesome joy in your heart even in the midst of difficulty cause you know that everything will work out for the better. It always does for those that love the Lord. You recieve a deep fullfilling satisfaction of just being alive and having a relationship with the creator of the earth, and the searching and constant striving for more stops, because you FOUND IT!!!! These are things that you can only experiance when you truly trust Christ.

Just to let you know that being a Christian does not mean that life is easy or everything is grand all the time. In fact its probably a little harder as we are not part of this world however we are in it. The difference is our hope in the Lord and our tust in him.

Your answers may have been the same as mine but dont assume to know the reasons behind my answers. my reasons are different from yours and different from the ones you give, for this simple reason... My brain will not let me believe in GOD and i use that term loosley, its not that i dont want to beleive or that i have been done some great misjustice, its the fact that my brain needs a little more convincing than everone else.

This is the only way i can describe it;
I believe in other world life and i believe whole heartedly that we have been visited but until i see it with my own eyes or examine the evidence with my own eyes i will only ever believe it 50%

The same for God or how the universe was created.

Stop harping on about it and understand that no battle's have been won, you are not victorious in anything... nothing is true its only what you choose to believe, how do you know everything happens for a reason, who told you this? what proof do you have?

My life is living proof! Overnight I was delivered from drugs and alcohol! I was an addict for 6 years of my life, I tried to quit so many times on my own that I couldnt count them. I was deep into the game, and then BAM! One night at a party God put me on my knees and revealed my foolish ways to me! He showed me what my life had become, I wanted nothing to do with substance abuse since then and the DESIRE to drink or do drugs was GONE!! Gone, for good. Since then I have grown closer and closer to Christ everyday, I am starting Bible College in August cause my calling is to be a pastor and reach out to the lost, just as Christ reached out to me.

Its common sense to me that everything happens for a reason, I look back on my past and I am thankful that I experianced the things I did cause it has made me the man I am today. Its also helped me to realize how REAL God is because of what I went through. This is called a testimony and everyone has one, all are diffrent though. See the funny thing is, God is the one that choose's people. You dont choose God. Wrap your mind around that Mr. Larkin. There is a reason why people are trying to reach out to you, I dont know why, but odds are deep in your heart you do... My wife and I prayed for you last night.

Do you live your life in regret? Don't you realize that our life experiances make us the people we are today? In turn, those things happened for a reason.. To make you the man you are today... Getting it???

I dont know what kind of "Proof" your looking for bro? Do you really live this way where you have to have something in front of you to believe its true? If so that must suck and be tiring constantly.. I am not asking you to believe blindly, but to believe, and seek him, and you shall find him. Then you will have all the proof you need. God wants to transform you!!

I will leave you with this. I have some scripture for you and hopefully you will understand it, God has tried to reach you Mr. Larkin and for your sake I pray that he continues even though you reject him.

Ok, read what you wrote........ then answer again.

"God wants to transform me" your words, ok read it, take it in.... got it?

Why would god want to transform me if he made me in his own image, that would suggest that he is not happy with humans, which means that god is imperfect, which means he is flawed, do you get "me"?

"Dont waste what is holy on people that are unholy" another contradiction if god wants to transform me.
