We vote people in and when we don't like something we b!tch and do little about it except talk or watch few others do something. Even the terrorists DO something other than talk. I wish they wouldn't, b/c I do like living here and just plain old living. Unless most of you are going to actually do something, why argue about anything at all, so that other bull-headed people will hear what you have to say and not change their minds just like you? Lucky for us, You live in NJ and your across the Board republican votes don't mean ****.
It seems like this country is so polarized that the only states that matter in National elections are the "swing states". Republican votes in the Northeast are irrelevant just as many Democratic votes in the South.
Time to eliminate the Electoral College and go to a popular vote.

This I agree with as well. You and I may not see eye to eye on everything, but a good discussion is always great. For Jamiel, a MAN shows courage in spite off fear. Everyone has fear. If you don't, you're lying. BTW this is a liberal country, just not by your definition. No offense, but review your Poli. Sci. classes. It's my minor and the info. is pretty accurate. We are a democratic republic. The people vote, but we have representatives to make the decisions. We do not have a popular vote on everything. That's a democracy and that's about as liberal as it gets.

This is a great post. I mean you really hit the nail on the head. I knew about China, but I didn't know it was THAT bad. I figured the war would be in about 20 years myself. Who knows? Personally, things are too polarized and instead of sitting around fighting over the flavor of the month, we need to bust some heads. I've got two kids and I don't want their futures screwed b/c we didn't take care of business. For those of you who can't tell, I'm more of a middle of the road guy. I vote for whoever seems to be the best.

Doubt it will happen though. As I have posted before, China is democratizing rapidly. The Chinese have a growing middle class. As the people taste freedom and capitalism the Communist government will slowly crumble. The biggest enemy to China is not the U.S., its the Chinese people who really hold the power. In 20 years the PRC will be no more, it will be the Democratic RC. Remember, when people live good, they won't fight for just anything.

We need to send our Liberals to China as missionaries, then they could do some good. "These tanks pollute too much! And your diet is bad mmkay, you need less fish."
