I am not a conspiracy theorist, but I do believe in conspiricies (i.e. JFK cover up). Dont rule out what PJ says unless you are there. He speaks of HIS goverment, you can only speak for yours. Last I checked this happened in the UK right?? Yes, thats what I thought.

On topic of OUR gov't.....
Dont be so misguided, George Bush is a major evil piece of Sh!t and you are obviously brain washed into thinking he has done the right things and continues to do so.
I was for him myself, but that support was relinquished as soon as the lies were exposed.

actually you're wrong. while i dont believe Bush is a "major evil piece of sh!t" i also am not happy with him. i dont like how the war is being fought whether i agreed with going in or not. i dont like how he is caving to whacko left and letting them dictate how to fight a war. he should either fight the war the way it should be fought or we should get the hell out. i think it is time for bush to go. (does that sound brainwashed). my vote for the next president will go to whoever i feel will fight to win. although right now i dont see one.

just because someone has pro-government views doesnt mean they are brainwashed. (although that is what the far left wing, anti government forces want you to believe) i read and read alot. i pay attention and come to my own conclusions. i need to be convinced of something before believe it. those conspiracy theories dont make any sense. in fact they are torn to shreds easily. that is why i dont believe them. not because im brain washed.

i dont look at the war on terror like that. i look at the UK and the US as one entity when it comes to the war. if it happens in the UK it happens here and vice versa.

To be honest, the same logic applies here to both sides.
One cannot think there are "no" conspiracies happening withing our gov't.
But on the same token, one cannot think the gov't is completely against the people and everything to do with it is a conspiracy in itself.
Sure most can be torn to shreds, but then there are alot that are very credible (JFK)

So I agree with both sides to a degree and you are right, I cant judge you as that is the same as you judging PJ.....There are valid points raised by both parties.

But no matter what, I will always think Bush is an evil piece of sh!t

Respectfully speaking:
The so called "war on terror" ended when our troops left Afganistan and headed to Iraq....

As for all the terrostic incidences happening over there now (car bombs, etc) well perhaps if we "got the hell out" then they'd stop trying to blow up our troops and such.

They should have taken the billions of billions of billions of dollars wasted in the war and spent it on defending the country on it's own ground, making us here safer on our own turf to prevent future 9/11's!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i cant disagree with that. should we have went into Iraq? looking back, probably not. but i feel now that we are there we cant just cut and run. i need to finish the job at any cost. that's my own opinion. but yes i wish we would spend more on homeland security, we can start by sealing the border.

do you really believe if we leave Iraq the terrorists will just leave us alone? no more suicide bombings in london? no more WTC bombings (1993)? no more 9/11's? i dont belive that at all. look at the many many attacks in the 90s. we werent in iraq then. and they still attacked. that's why i say we need to finish the job since we went in.

Amen to that MindFreak!

I just dont see us getting out of there anytime soon and that sucks, especially for the troops and the family of the troops who are over there dying every day.

But bro, the job will never be finished, EVER.
Do you think when and if Iraq is beaten down into complete submission that all the terrorsists in the world now will not see us as the prime target for their evil attacks and all will be well?

Hell no, there will be more 9/11's and nothing we do in Iraq will stop that one.

If we leave Iraq right now...

A. The terrorists have a new "bee-hive" from which to launch attacks, train, breed more...just overall great hangout. U.S. free Iraq to terrorists is like "Paradise Cove" to the cast of "Saved by the bell".
B. TRIVIA! Who is the long time adversary of Iraq that sits next door and drools over Iraq's oil?...HINT: they are poor, violent, developing nukes and their leader looks like a small monkey. And they are shi'ites while most of Iraw are the evil Sunni's who according to holy scripture ought to be crushed and decapitated. Ah yes! Thats Iran. And they would, if unofficially, take control of Iraq. And then allow Al Queda to crash. Sounds like a winning situation so far.
C. As long as we kill the bees in the bee hive, they have a smaller chance of multiplying and flying here. So fighting terrorism abroad is just as important, if not more important than fighting it at home. There are 900,000 Muslim extremists to every Timothy McVae.

Here here! I think the problem a lot of people have in the U.S. is that they have forgotten what a military does.....

It makes things go BOOM! Although technology has improved our ability to pick out the things we want to go BOOM, we still make mistakes. Innocent people get killed and that is a part of war. The thing that really bites my a$$ is why in the hell doesn't anyone seem to care that these terrorists, in any country, kill innocent civillians all the time? Every day we here the news about some terrorist attack and the number of civillian casualities vs. strategic casualities (ie: the inteded target which may been civillians) is usually higher. Haven't the people in Irag and Afghanistan figured out that their own people are murdering the citizenry at a far higher rate then coallition forces. Just tell me, how many people died in Iraq and Afghanistan before troops arrived?
