911 WTC Conspiracy?
I'm sure we've all heard the wacko conspiracy theorists talking about 911, and how it was some kind of plan by the US government. I'm not one to go jumping on any conspiracy bandwagons, but I ran across some videos that provide some compelling evidence that has given me pause for thought. It's actually bothering me a little, and I'd like to hear some feedback from other people on these videos.
BTW. If this thread turns into any kind of discussion. I certainly expect there to be absolutely no flaming. Here are the videos. I urge to watch all of them before posting any comments. i've read about the theories since 2003. It was disturbing at first because this was when i was starting to get into 24 the tv show. I also had an palestinian friend who has strong hatred for american politics, especially after 9/11

Havnt watched those vids but iv seen some others and read abit on the subject. Yes i believe the theoris. Quite a few more English people than Americans do i think as alot of people i know believe them.
Also have a look at this: Was on myspace a while ago so not sure how much of it is true but i know for sure quite abit is. 1) New York City has 11 letters 2) Afghanistan has 11 letters. 3) Ramsin Yuseb (The terrorist who threatened to destroy the Twin Towers in 1993) has 11 letters. 4) George W Bush has 11 letters. 5) The two twin towers make an "11" This could be a mere coincidence, but this gets more interesting: 1) New York is the 11th state. 2) The first plane crashing against the Twin Towers was flight number 11. 3) Flight 11 was carrying 92 passengers. 9 + 2 = 11 4) Flight 77 which also hit Twin Towers, was carrying 65 passengers. 6+5 = 11 5) The tragedy was on September 11, or 9/11 as it is now known. 9 + 1+ 1 = 11 6) The date is equal to the US emergency services telephone number 911. 9 + 1 + 1 = 11. Sheer coincidence..?! Read on and make up your own mind: 1) The total number of victims inside all the hi-jacked planes was 254. >2 + 5 + 4 = 11. 2) September 11 is day number 254 of the calendar year. Again 2 + 5 + 4 = 11. 3) The Madrid bombing took place on 3/11/2004. 3 + 1 + 1 + 2 + 4 = 11. 4) The tragedy of Madrid happened 911 days after the Twin Towers incident. Sheer coincidence..?! Read on and make up your own mind: Now this is where things get totally eerie: The most recognized symbol for the US, after the Stars & Stripes, is the Eagle. The following verse is taken from the Quran, the Islamic holy book: "For it is written that a son of Arabia would awaken a fearsome Eagle. The wrath of the Eagle would be felt throughout the lands of Allah and lo, while some of the people trembled in despair still more rejoiced: for the wrath of the Eagle cleansed the lands of Allah and there was peace." That verse is number 9.11 of the Quran. Still uncovinced about all of this..?! Try this and see how you feel afterwards, it made my hair stand on end: Open Microsoft Word or notepad and do the following(TRY THIS FOR REAL) 1. Type in capitals Q33 NY. This is the flight number of the first plane to hit one of the Twin Towers. 2. Highlight the Q33 NY 3. Change the font size to 48. 4. Change the actual font to the WINGDINGS 1 Kinda scary.... :s

I shouldnt be posting on here really as its a real complex subject to just dive into on a BBing forum, however if any like minded folks want to pm me for links etc relating to 911 or 7/7 feel free to pm me, i woke up last year to alot of stuff along with my family which includes 2 special forces vets my father and uncle who now understand what they were asked to do for their country in years gone by, anyway my father is now writing a book bless him after much hurt in coming to terms with the truth. Anyway whatever you believe remember its important to have an opinion that is your own, not an opinion that is based around what the media feeds you on a daily basis. Love your country America and love your Constitution, get your brave men and women out of the middle east.

all those "theories" have been debunked on numerous websites. go to google and type in something lke 9/11 conspiracy theories debunked. you can find out scientific reasons why things happend and why those theories are bvllsh!t
what really happened on 9/11? a bunch of pissed off muslims hijacked planes and flew them into american targets. that's it. that's what really happened. i know its not politically correct to say this but everyone should be blaming those pissed off muslims not the US government. all these theories are absurb.

From what I understand......
Fact: No steal framed building has ever collapsed from fire. Fact: 3 buildings imploded on their footprint, only 2 were hit by planes. Other buildings sustained much worse fire damage, then the third, yet they did not fall. How has this been debunked?

As a civil engineer with a structural background it is POSSIBLE for steel to collapse due to fire damage, depending on the heat of the fire and such. An extreme fire with high temperatures will begin to melt down steel. This is why some steel-framed buildings are given a fireproofing coating (a fibrous spray-on slurry in many cases), in particular on the columns and major floor girders.
Whether or not the fires caused by the impact of the planes into the buildings was sufficient to create that kind of heat is debateable, but jet fuel does burn extremely hot. If the upper floors were to begin to weaken from such a fire, it could create impacts on lower floors to collapse the entire building. It's all speculation on my part based on what I know as an engineer. This is a very, very touchy subject and sadly, between the media and the way it's been handled, we'll never really know the truth about it. Reminds me a lot of JFK's assasination. We do need to get our men and women home, and I'm certain that will go far. I will not comment further.

It was the rest of the stuff burning afterward that was responsible for the heat transfer that eventually brought them down." Puffs Of Dust CLAIM: As each tower collapsed, clearly visible puffs of dust and debris were ejected from the sides of the buildings. An advertisement in The New York Times for the book Painful Questions: An Analysis Of The September 11th Attack made this claim: "The concrete clouds shooting out of the buildings are not possible from a mere collapse. They do occur from explosions." Numerous conspiracy theorists cite Van Romero, an explosives expert and vice president of the New Mexico Institute of Mining and Technology, who was quoted on 9/11 by the Albuquerque Journal as saying "there were some explosive devices inside the buildings that caused the towers to collapse." The article continues, "Romero said the collapse of the structures resembled those of controlled implosions used to demolish old structures." FACT: Once each tower began to collapse, the weight of all the floors above the collapsed zone bore down with pulverizing force on the highest intact floor. Unable to absorb the massive energy, that floor would fail, transmitting the forces to the floor below, allowing the collapse to progress downward through the building in a chain reaction. Engineers call the process "pancaking," and it does not require an explosion to begin, according to David Biggs, a structural engineer at Ryan-Biggs Associates and a member of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) team that worked on the FEMA report. Like all office buildings, the WTC towers contained a huge volume of air. As they pancaked, all that air--along with the concrete and other debris pulverized by the force of the collapse--was ejected with enormous energy. "When you have a significant portion of a floor collapsing, it's going to shoot air and concrete dust out the window," NIST lead investigator Shyam Sunder tells PM. Those clouds of dust may create the impression of a controlled demolition, Sunder adds, "but it is the floor pancaking that leads to that perception." Demolition expert Romero regrets that his comments to the Albuquerque Journal became fodder for conspiracy theorists. "I was misquoted in saying that I thought it was explosives that brought down the building," he tells PM. "I only said that that's what it looked like." Romero, who agrees with the scientific conclusion that fire triggered the collapses, demanded a retraction from the Journal. It was printed Sept. 22, 2001. "I felt like my scientific reputation was on the line." But emperors-clothes.com saw something else: "The paymaster of Romero's research institute is the Pentagon. Directly or indirectly, pressure was brought to bear, forcing Romero to retract his original statement." Romero responds: "Conspiracy theorists came out saying that the government got to me. That is the farthest thing from the truth. This has been an albatross around my neck for three years." i found that in about 2 seconds of searching. I say again. go to google and type in something lke 9/11 conspiracy theories debunked.

so he denied it then he had a change of heart? why would he do that? obviously you already made up your mind. no matter how evidence is shown to debunk these your not going to chagne your mind. again, buy (or rent) "Inside 9/11". alot of terrorists captured in iraq and afganastan have since confessed to the 9/11 attacks. i know its much more interesting to think that our government was behind it but in reality it was a bunch of islamic terrorists. we would have a disagreement as to why they did it or if we provoke them or whatnot. but that is a different story. fact is they did. not the US government. i dont like the way things have been handled since it happened. i think the US should have sent the whole army into afganastan to make sure they got bin laden. i dont like the way the iraq war has been fought. i dont like the way they are fighting a "politically correct" war. there's a lot i dont like. but the truth is the government didnt have any forehand knowledge of 9/11.
