A fellow bro on another regular board of mine has just passed on. He died of an accidental overdose of several meds. He had a neck injury a few years ago and went into a deep depression. He was a hardcore lifter and couldn't get himself out of the dumps being in the state he was in. Although I did not know him personally it still saddens me nonetheless to know that his internal fire died out because he couldnt participate in the one activity that he loved, weightlifting. And although i didnt have a personal connection, many that i am close to did, and my heart is deeply saddened on their behalf. Its a very tight-knit board and a loss within the family thats very hard to swallow. He went by the name of Bench and he left behind many that cared for him.
RIP no response necessary.

I know where you come from, when you say you didn't know him but still feel the sadness in you. A kid in my school committed suicide about two years ago, and even though I did not know him, it had its effects on me and everyone else in the school. I still remember the day when I was walking through the hallway and saw a small group of girls completely sobbing in tears. Its always sad to hear of someone passing away. RIP.
