Im more familiar with older women myself. When I was 24, I dated a friend of my mom's for several months. I believe she was 45.

I personally feel that the emotional gap between 18 and 22 is huge. 18 is fresh out of high school, probably still home with mom. 22 is at least a few years on your own. Yeah, shes legal, but if you are looking for a real relationship, id try elsewhere honestly.

while i have relationship problems of my own, i think in this case papasmurf, knows best...

she is 18 and you say you feel like 30...while she wants to go out and have fun with her friends you might want to stay home and enjoy the fruits of your work, read a good book, go to the gym and spend some quiet/quality time...she might be ok staying home a few times and you might be ok going out to the club few times but unless you two are in the same lifestyle age group, one of you is bounded to get tired of the other way of acting...30 minded person is serious and more careful on the step he takes, 18 minded wants to enjoy life and start to live without the parental fact of all decisions having to be screened by parents, in this case you would end up being another parent...

just my opinion again and like i said i am probably in no position to give it as i dont even know what to do in my own damn relationship...

why does it have to be so hard/complicated

Im 19 and my girl is 17 weve been together for a year and a half and I love her to death but the maturity level me being a sophomore in college and her being a senior in highschool is very different and definately puts a tole on the relationship with things like her admitting when she makes mistaks and stuff like that she dosn't have the maturity to admit shes wrong but its getting there... i personally think 24 and 18 is a big gap and a little strange but thats just me my ex is dating a 24 yr old right now and they both have to keep it this HUUUUUUUUUGE sercret cuz everyone says its ****ed up...but i think its different for all kinds of people

u shouldnt be asking a bodybuilding forum about this. id say u can get MUCH better information from your heart, what do U want. why can't say if she is too young or not mature enough for you, we havent met either of you. if u feel that u guys liek eachother a lot, then why not take a go at it and see where the ride takes you? whats the worst that can happen.

to be honest, do what you want but the 4 years difference between 22 year old and 18 years old is alot. Think about, at 18 you'll be in little or no debt.

At 22 i'd be starting my career while an 18 year old may still be wondering what to do with life.
That's why i'm into older women...
