So how long will we be remembering the events of 9/11 for in your opinions? will it indeed fade into the fog of time?

I think it will be remembered always by this generation. Sure it will be taught in schools as part of history, but with other generations who were not here when it happened it will not be remembered how I remember it.

I don't mourn those lost at Pearl Harbor on it's anniversary like my grandfather did. If I was not reminded of it by the calendar or the news I would probably not think about it at all. Time moves on I guess and the same will eventually happen with 9/11 IMO.

it will always be remembered because it was just terrible, like person be4 me said, mainly by are generation but i can see something much worst happening in the future that would maybe push it to one side,

It'll always be remembered as a historical event, just like pearl harbor. The acutal mourning will fade with time and generations.

For those of us in this country Jim I think it will always be remembered. Every new cop, fire fighter, ambulance attendant, rescue worker, etc., will always have the Towers as a training tool. For other countries, except maybe Britain, it will lose all significance in due time.

That reminds me, have any of you guys seen the video of the plane crashing into the pentagon? It doesn't look like any airplane I've ever seen. The video is very compelling to the conspiracy theorists.

Seen it Merk and they have disproved the whole missle theory. I guess it is kind of 'which side do you believe'? I can not believe that this government is capable of keeping a secret any more. I hate to say it Merk, but it makes your line of work God Damn difficult!

I haven't seen anything disproving the missle theory. Not saying it doesn't exist, just never heard of it.

I read everything about conspiracy theorists and I grew up right outside of DC so I am familiar with the area. Here are some articles that support the plane crash theory:

Bump. With all due respect to the ones who lost their lives and their families, it's really starting to wear on me. especially when I think the Gov. had some planning in it.

I think 11/9 will be remembered but for the wrong reasons - the general population is not thick enough to believe the government propaganda indefinitely and 11/9 will eventually be seen as the beginning of the end, the start of the demise of civil liberties

no offense to the people who lost loved ones on that day, it was a terrible tragedy but the government are using it for their own goals
