That would go with logic because there trajectory would be known do to there long flight time, etc.

Might as well toss 'ol Russia into that mix as well. They are opposing American lead sanctions against NK.

Star Wars is probably up and running and has been for close to 2 decades, i would guess. It's in the best interests to keep such defenses on the "low-pro" to gain advantage over any country that chooses to challenge. Foxnews just put up a headline stating that a Japanese news source is saying that the NK's have a missile(s) pointing towards Hawaii....the guy who provided commentary on the info said that he believes that the missile(s) are not intended to hit Hawaii but are positioned to land in the vicinity of the Hawaiian islands....

honestly i think Japan is trying to make the NK's look more threatening than they really are to muster up support for sanctions against the NK's

and i swear if i hear Foxnews blame Bill Clinton one more time for this mess....they are so far up President Bush and the Republicans' rear ends its ridiculous!

but i watch it bc its entertaining at times

Not to jump on Fox's bandwagon, the coverage I have seen from them states, allbeit often, is that Bush Sr. and Clinton both tried dealing directly with N.K. Clinton actually arranged for us to send atomic energy equipment to NK if they would not develope nuclear capabilities. Oh well, they did. Clinton tried direct talks with NK and we were burned. Now, we are trying to create a coalition from the international community and all I have heard is that the democrats want us to try unilateral discussions. Again, no matter which party you are from, nothing we do will make the world any safer if the world doesn't want it to be.

do u think we will eventually go into NK and liberate the people like we're doing in Iraq (i think theres a good possibility) and also how do u think this situation with NK is gonna effect our talks and diplomacy with Iran?

I hope we learned what messing in N.K. politics bought us back in the 60's and 70's. So I hope that China pulls them in line. I doubt it but we certainly will have to handle NK and China if we send in ground troops. As long as we are occupied with N.K. Iran will continue to push forward with their own plans. And, vice versa. Bad situation all around.

oh you are exactly right, the us had the black bird and stealth bomber and fighter long before everyone knew about it - and my dad (rip - go WVU) was a specialist who helped with atomic annie - which i didnt even know about until it became unclassified, and im willing to bet many dont know about now... and he had TS clearance till 59 - so who knows whats going on....


Point being, when someone from the gov't tells you, I dunno, or I cant answer that question... dont believe them.. but better yet, believe them... or at least act like you believe them.

talking of top secret weapons, scientist understoood the theory of dropping a penny off the empire state building, the sheer velocity would kill anyone unlucky enough to be standing there at the bottom.

so the thought of dropping huge rods from space onto a target, the velocity and mass would create an impact similar to an asteroid/meteor but more localised.
