The messed up part is when they are released by the do-gooder- social workers they get a normal life back and are put within walking distances of childrens parts. GOVERNMENT CAN YOU NOT SEE THE SERIOUS PROBLEM HERE???

So on the way to work this morning I was listening to a radio show that did a "fake" myspace profile. The profile was of a 14 year old girl. They created it 2 weeks ago and recieved hundreds of messages from guys over 30!

I guess some of them gave there phone number without even asking. The radio show brought in a girl and had her pretend to be the 14 year old. They called these people and talked to them live on the radio by roleplaying it up. I could not believe some of these guys. One was 45 and he was all like "age doesnt matter..I am just looking for that special girl out there". He then proceeded to tell her that he had "for your eyes only pics" that he would email out to her.

I mean I have seen it before on dateline and stuff and I know that this sick **** exists out there...but damn I mean its just wrong. Where do these guys get off trying to pick up girls that young!?

Disturbing...simply disturbing. These guys should have there junk cut off. Danger to society.

I remember those types of cases Iko. I had two and all I could think about was getting pedophille alone with no witnesses. I actually got sick on my first case. First on the scene, had to get ALL the details from the vic.

this subject has always upset me, its the one crime i would like to see the death penalty brought back for.
that case of the 3 month old babie still haunts me and i am fed up of putting on the tv or radio and seeing that some child has been hurt yet again.

i understand that guilt has to be proved and until they are found guilty given the benefit of the doubt. but its getting to much.

that guy pleaded guilty and only got five years with time taken off for the amount of time he has stayed in prison already. its been taken to the higher courts and i hope it will be extended people like that need to stay locked up for the sake of themselves and the children that might be saved the pain of contact with them.

Like DannyBoy9 says, about the teens: Where the heck are the parents and the supervision. There are alot of sickos in the world, why aren't parents keeping better track of their kids and their actions. My daughter won't be allowed anywhere without me knowing her every move until she is 30... I am big time on being old school and will hunt her down with a broom if I get a wiff that she is lying to me...

But yeah, there are alot of sick people out there and noone can be trusted.

I am all for rounding up child molesters and shooting them in the head, but I also think these days that kids just aren't educated enough about potential predators. When I was 5 I avoided being kidnapped twice because my parents had told me what to look for and what to do in the situation. I just don't think kids are smart enough about people that they don't know these days...
