The better question to ask here is not when will the world end? but When will we run out of fuel sources? Once we run out of oil we are gonna be so fvcked it's rediculous.

No we won't be ........ people have already come up with alternative fuel sources but the oil companies made sure the ideas got canned.

There is biodiesel and ethanol but we will see if either of those really pan out as far as the main source of oil. So far they are treating ethanol as just a "helper" and not a cure for our oil dependency.

Some people are running their cars on vegetable oil these days - there's also electricity (from variable sources...eg solar). Some guy even made an engine that runs on water!

That is extremely stupid and this guy should be killed. Oil is important to the point where if we run out, we don't have cars anymore. WATER is important to the WHOLE WORLD. Emagine EVERY car in the world running on water?? That's absurd!

The vegatable oil thing is called biodiesel but just like ethanol it remains to be seen if it will work as a stand alone fuel source.

Water gets recyled numbskull......... The water vapour exits the exhaust, forms clouds & then rains back down on us....wtf are they teaching at schools these days . Water doesn't just burn up & disappear like oil does.
