Question True Confessions

I have a confession...

I workout daily and workout hard. I eat right (when people are watching) and encourage those around me to do the same, but when nobodies looking I am cramming the fattiest things in my body. Cake, Ice cream, snack cakes and anything else I can get my hands on. Sometimes I think it helps me to work out harder.

Is this wrong, I mean come on I am doing everything else that's right for my body. Why can't I endulge?

proper nutrition is everything. If your happy with your body, i guess your eating practices are okay, but if you're looking to make changes then i would definetly try to develope greater self control.

I think if you feel ok about eating those things, then do so, but it doesnt seem like you feel ok with it. If you were cool with it you wouldnt do it behind everyones back. Thats the only thing that owrries me, that you hide it from everyone.

I have cut out almost all bad things from my diets, sweets, cokes, fast food....but i still buy yogurt covered pretzals every day in the cafeteria....i only eat like 2 at a time, and only like 3 times a day, so it just a random snack, something that i enjoy, but i feel bad about it. People know, but then again, 6 pretzals wont make u fat, so i shoulnt worry.

Sometimes I feel bad about it, but most of the problem is that alot of my friends and workout partners ask me "what do you eat, or whats healthy" and I tell them whats healthy, but I sure don't want them to say "you said this is healthy but you turn around and eat that junk! How can you tell us how to diet if you don't even follow it?"

Thats what I am really trying to avoid... I hate being the guy they all come to for advice. It's like they put you up on this great big pedastool and say "hey Look at him he works out he's healthy lets see what his secret is..."

Does anyone know what that's like????

I have most of my friends ask me stuff. Anytime any of em wanna start lifting, or eating better, or taking supplements, i am the guy to go to. I have even got that reputation on my hall, guys come to my room to get their BF% measured...so ya, I know that kind of pressure. The good thing is, they trust me because of how I look. I guess I look pretty strong, and I am compared to most guys around here, but I am around 20% body fat. So I mena, they have seen me lose ALOT of weight, so they know that I know what I am tlaking about. and I am confident that I can take anyone, and if they listen to me, they will lose weight. But the thing is, if I ever get the "I dont wanna look like you, so I am not gonna listen to you" just ignore it, i know I know about 10 times as much as thye do, that the difference, i am implementing it in my life, it takes time, but I still know what I am doing. So if they dont appreciate that, then dont sweat it.

if you are actually serious about being a bodybuilder then its just dumb. I don't care what you eat though...i am not a serious bodybuilder, I am just a lifter, I just want to put up more and more weight, I don't eat **** like that, but occasionally if i get a craving.

who cares, if you keep a decent body and make gains and all that, then i guess its not really a problem.

Okay I confessssssss.

A few times a week, I put a big ass scoop of Ice Cream in my protein shakes........

I feel so much better now that I got that out

And now I know why only I can see my sixpack.....
under the layer of Ice cream

Arrow If giving in to cravings was cheating, I have had an orgy tonight!

I ordered a plate of chicken fries..and then the waitress pointed out that those lamb chops were the juiciest ever..one thing lead to another.....

....I swear it didnt mean anything!

i am feeling very very guilty now.

Tomorrow morning I would wake up, take my egg whites, gulp down my shakes, and go about my *controlled* diet, and pretend nothing happened.
