As you all know, there is a movie called, "White Men Can't Jump." Is that racist?!?!?!? If so, why didn't blacks get all bent out of shape.. Is is becuase they don't care if it is racist as long as THEY aren't the ones being profiled??? Or is it not racist? Can I release a movie called, "Black Men Can't Hold Jobs." Is that ok then?? Me confused

The end of the movie shows he can indeed jump. If you want to make a movie called ''black men can`t hold jobs'' then show someone become the CEO of Starbucks, I`m sure there would be no complaints.

There are plenty of examples but that`s not one of them. I went to a hip hop concert when I was in my teens and the group refused to play until all the white people left. Let`s just say I was ''helped'' out the door. Nothing was even mentionned about it in the papers, the news, nothing. Now had that been Garth brooks who refused to play until all the black people left, he would never get another gig in his life.

There are always going to be injustices in the world. Some people will hate you for your skin colour, whether you`re black white or purple. Others will hate you for your language or your religion. Don`t dwell on it. besides, I liked the movie.

IMO people are to worried about all this racism stuff. If there is a serious problem with prejudice and discrimination, it needs to be addressed yeah, but like the whole conspiracy with Dave Chappelle was ridiculous. People are too uptight. Just because blacks can say "niggah" deosnt mean when a white is playin it cool and is like "wassup mah n!gger", all of the sudden he's a racist and a hater and a KKK leader? As far as i am concerned, the constitution is ery fair. Blacks have no restriction on anything(the way it should have been 200 years ago.), and have no limitations regarding the law. But if someone is discriminatory in hiring for a job, then there is a problem. racism has become almsot a personal choice rather than a nationwide thing, if you know what i am saying. What is past is past, let's move into the future.


aside from that,, "white men cant jump" was not a racial suggestion. It merely said that white men cant sky with a 4 foot vertical like a black guy can.

Sure it is racist, but what difference does that make? The law protects the minorities not the majorities for obvious reasons. Now if you lost a job because of racial discrimination, then sure you can take legal actions.

As far as the movie goes, blacks should not been the ones protesting it, it should have been the whites protesting it and they didn't so why blame the blacks?

Discrimination exists everywhere in our every day life. The "Senior specials" at the movies and restaurant is fragrant age discrimination for example and younger people can take these institutes to court, but we don't not because it is not illegal, but because it benefits older people which we don't really care much about. After all, one day we will be old.

There's much more sensitivity towards racism with black folk than any other race. Something interesting I have observed in the black culture is that they call each other "ni**a" every other sentence, but the second a white guy says it, all hell breaks lose.

On a side note, that would be a very funny name for a movie, kind of like how "Straight plan for the gay man," makes fun of "Queer eye for the straight guy."
