I have been smoking for 5 years now, at about 1/4-1/2 pack a day. I can run at cadence(sp) for an hour. There is no way i'm going to support smoking as an aerobic supplement, but it doesn't seem like it has THAT much effect on your aerobic abilities if you exercise regularly. Then again, I can't help but wonder how fast/strong/endureing I would be if I didn't smoke... I really ought to quit.

I smoked for 8 years i have been clean now for 9. For me even when i was a smoker i could rn the mile in 745. Now i can do it in 830. when i was a smoker it was hard to do the mile but my heart just pushed me on it probly could of given me a heart attack but i always push so damm hard at everything i do.. Now when i run the mile its so much easier for me. when i smoked it def effedted my stamina. I had somebody in my family die of lung cancer from smoking and thats what made me quit. The hardest thing was being in the hospital and hearing my sister say she wished she never smoked and that it was not worth her life it still haunts me today to hear those words. Every time i look at a pack of smokes i say so myself how can people risk there lives for something so small. My sister was 34 years old i know a lot of smokers say my daddy smoked until he was 75 and he is fine. But i say this there is always a chance it can happen when you are young. and why risk it laying in a hospital bed getting your lungs drained every hour cause they keep feeling up with fluid. Life is way to important to risk it over smoked in my option. there are way to many hot women to lol and way to must masterubating to be done lol peace
