i dont vote just because they are republican. i vote for my national security interests and my wallet. that is why i vote republican. democrats are flat out weak when it comes to national defense and democrats love to reach into the pocket of hard working americans, STEAL their money and hand it to lazy slobs who dont work. trust me i dont vote just because they carry the name "Republican" i vote for them because they are much, much closer to my belief system. show me a democrat that doesnt want to rob me and is not afraid to defend the country and i would consider voting for them. you'd be hard pressed to find one though. not to mention democrats say ridiculous things to pander for votes. take this for instance. Chuck Shumer is a democrat senator from NY. Recently, when the postal rates were raised to 39 cents to mail a letter Shumer, the genius, made a statement that raising the rate was the bush administration plot to keep miniorites and old people from getting their assistance checks (what he really means is welfare checks) because now they cant afford to mail the paperwork neccessary to get their checks due to the 2 cent raise.
now let's talk about retarded. Last edited by dd3060; 01-26-2006 at 09:24 AM. |

Traz, I agree that Bush may have made some decisions that werent the best, or things that the public disagreed with, but heres thing. We cant say that we would do better, because we just dont know. We dont know 80% of what really goes on in decision making processes, and about details that we cant know about. The public is left in the dark on so much stuff, because we probably couldnt handle it. IF we had all the info and details the government had, it would probably be a much different country, probably some rioting and so on. Im just saying, we should all consider that we really just dont know about hardly anything that goes on. We know what they tell us, and probably what they think we can handle, but there has to be so much more.

Point taken. I agree I just wish there was a real candidate next election. Someone where there was no doubt about his character and his intellegence. Someone who would put an end to the ridiculous partisan bickering.....I guess I will have to keep wishing.....

I do support some of the things that Bush has done (Saddam needed to be taken down at all costs, regardless of popular opinion), but I don't think he really has too much to do with policy these days. He is more of a puppet.

I'd wager that you're against it. If I am correct, then you are more liberal than you think. Most Americans are liberal. Most Americans have the decency, compassion, common sense, and humanitarian moral standards that define liberalism. So if liberals are terrorists (all Democrats are liberal, by the way), then most Americans are terrorists. |

sorry most americans are not liberal. if that were so we wouldnt have a republican president, republican congress, republican senate and a majority of the governors wouldnt be republican. if the country is so liberal why do liberals lose so many elections and why do conserative republican run the country? ... uh that's what i thought

liberals want to believe the country is liberal cause it was for so long. but in the last 10 to 15 years things have changed big time. until they stop whining, crying and trying to give terrorists a bill of rights they will continue to lose. oh yeah and they need to stop stealing more and more money from real americans (who work hard to realize the american dream and dont expect a hand out from their government) and give it to a bunch of lazy slobs.

. . . damn. That was that BB-rattling-in-a-tin-can-sound I heard. Burn. Anyway, yes, most Americans are liberal. Most politicians are Republican because Republicans are friends to big business, and big business runs the government. When you consider that, it's not hard to see why Republicans are in the seats of power. And yes, most Americans even use the term 'conservative' to describe themselves, even though most Americans are the kind of people who ascribe to liberal ideals, such as fairness, equality and justice. Why? Because Republicans have spent a lot of money trying to convince us that 'liberal' means 'terrorist.' |
