Less than 10% of humans have homosexual tendancies. Obvioustly a minority if there ever was one...

Anyways, my town is blue collar, and gays don't do well... So what ever happens in the likes of "San Francisco" would not fly here. So i don't have much to deal with thankfully...

It is bizarre to you, because that is where you draw the line on what is, and is not marriage. Well, as you can see, i make my line a little tighter. You find that wierd, just as i find gay marriage wierd. I don't fault gays for there sexual abnormalities, but that still does not give them the right to alter an institution that is so important to main stream society.

It's more than that no matter what a concensus states, mainly because so many are afraid to be known due to views like yours.

That is a pretty stupid response...

If i claim that the USA is 95% black, and tell you to go to Harlem, or South Central LA to see for yourself would you believe me?

Hey bar, remember when dating and marrying african americans considerd an acceptable part of main stream society. Well guess what times change and they are changing all the time. More and more people are being more open with there sexuality so there will be more homosexuals in the future. And as for you blue collar town, you will not be able to evade gay marrige for long, heck you might even get gays moving there any time soon. It will spread there becuase i think it unconstitutional to say who can and cannot get married, what gives us that right.

No, that is a pretty stupid response. You simply cannot put a number on how many people are gay and how many are not. It's more easily hidden than ethnicity and color. Done here. Have a nice day, Bar.

Gay people live here, no doubt, there are 500,000 people here, so i am sure plenty are gay... That is fine, i have no problem with that. I am just pleased that unlike Toronto for example, we don't have a million person "gay parade" in the core of our city, with men wearing thongs, and kissing each other. That is not something positive to expose a city to.

you guys noticed what Bush and other politicians said..they want to "Protect the sanctity of marriage".

wtf is that..In America more and more people are living together unmarried..how would you define a marriage then.

Not only that there's about a 50/50 chance of people getting divorced now after every marriage..what is marriage then.

Bush you dumb idiot

I am extremely against gay marriage, as the majority of the United States are. Marriage was originated for the jointure of one man, and one woman, to live together in monogomy for the purpose of procreation. The original point to marriage WAS REPRODUCTION. A homosexual couple can not reproduce, so it's pointless for them to even worry about marriage.

Also, I believe if they allow gay marriages it will bring an end to much of society as we know it. Anyone care to step back in time and look at the Romans? What do you think was the prime reason their empire fell? Decadence of society. What caused the decadence? Wide-spread homosexuality. It's statistically proven that homosexual man are FAR more promiscious in their relationships than any others. I believe it was 82% of them that were considered promiscious in their relationships. What we're asking now is, do we want to ruin marriage over something like this? Are we going to make Marriage as trivial as a damn fast food restraunt? That's all it's going to become if we allow this to continue. There's only a 52% chance of a successful marriage in America right now, what do you think it'll be when this done?

I think his second paragraph is not so well thought... But this one sums it up well... Marriage was designed to accomodate the children born... It creates a more stable home, and makes stronger families. Letting gays marry each other will do the opposite.

I read 50% are not in it for the the sex and besides what about people who can reproduce. Want if a sterial man or a women who had to have a histerectomy (spelling?) to save her life is later told, "Sorry you can't get married cause you can't have offspring" With the overflowing population why should we mind people who can't have children the rite to marry. Worst case that they'll adopt a child

What proof do you have that living and being brought up by gay parents weither it be two males or two females would be less stable than a hetero couple

Because statistically gay male couples do not stay together, they are extremely promiscious.

Oh yeah to make a point from you previous comments bar, there are about 292 million people in america in 2003. So 10% rounds to 3 million people. Can you honestly call 3 million a minority and clame that we don't need to reconize their rights
