Debate Guidelines

Everyone,

Now that this forum is available for having debates/discussions on anything as long as it adheres to the TOS, maybe a few things to keep in mind to keep it mature and unlocked:

- NO FLAMING - This includes cursing/swearing to your opponent or calling them names.

- KEEP A COOL HEAD - This is the Internet, not life & death. No matter how annoyed or pissed you get, don't resort to flaming and don't let your emotions come into play - use facts (and make sure you can back them up ) If a discussion upsets you a lot, just leave or don't post anything until you can calm down.

- OTHERS CAN JOIN IN - as long as they read through what happened already and not re-introduce subjects that are already in play, build on them if you want with new info or a new perspective.

- KEEP JIM'S GUIDELINES IN MIND - If you can't remember them, read them at the top sticky.

if things get ugly, then the offending posts will get split and moved to the dump and continue there, or... if its really bad, the entire thread will get moved to the dump.

Note, there have been a lot of posts that are basically the same thing...I'm going to start removing them, so if something already has a topic, don't post a new one for it.
