Hey all,

It's been a while since I didn't write here but well I don't have as much time as I did back then.

I need a new belt my other one got stolen at my gym.

Is this one good and comfortable? Anybody tried it?

  • If you never injured your back, wearing a belt adds no safety.
  • If you injure yourself while wearing a belt, the injury is more severe.
  • To get the most out of weight belts, you must lift with bad technique.
  • If you want to lift a few more pounds, wear a weight belt.

lol stuart

I wouldn't reccomend a belt unless you are up near 90-100% of your max and at risk of losing form. I think a beginner would benefit more without one to get a feel for the lift and not handicap their core.

Yes it's freezing in here!

I do not think that wearing a back belt for Deadlift and Squat is bad at all for your back. It's just like knee wraps I only put them on when going heavy and it adds this little safety feeling I need to really push the enveloppe on heavy set (4-6).

LOL! Still as funny as before . What's up with you? Did you run this cycle finally??? Me I have been out of the gym due to my shoulder injury for almost a full year but now I am back 100% natural and I'm doing damn good (Thanks to DC principle)... I'm now 230# with about 20%bf, yeah not lean but still strong!!

Because the **** you posted doesn't make any sense. I might explain myself further but since all you do is post other peoples articles, don't keep a log, don't post vids, don't post pics I take nothing you say seriously. Arguing with you about it would be an effort in frustration since you have no clue wtf you are talking about, or in your case copying and pasting.

You have zero credibility until you do and post something of your own thought.

Dude all we are saying is post your own knowledge, you hang from mehdi's nuts just cuz he has a website with the answers to every question apparently. I am by no means the strongest dude on this forum but damn my lifts make his look like a school girl's. I don't need his advice.

About The Author. Mehdi is founder & author of StrongLifts.com. He’s 27 year old and lives in Belgium. His current best raw lifts are 170kg Deadlift, 135kg Box Squat, 100kg Bench

What a beast...

What a beast...
Who is this Mehdi guy? Are you kidding me? His best deadlift is 374 and he runs a site called StrongLifts?
LOL and wow, he is benching what I did at 15!

Anyways, on the topic of posting articles and info from other sources.
As long as a link is provided or a source is posted, I dont have too much of a problem with it. If the poster is trying to pass off the info as his own, then thats a different game all together and I dont think Danny is trying to do that at all.

But I will say this, (and not to choose sides) I listen to personal experience over any articles or studies I read.

.
