For that first one, that guy probably shouldn't have been doing that much weight. On the drop he had no control at all, which means he probably had no chance of benching whatever that was. The guy should have known his own strength, and if he knew he wasn't going to be able to do a rep without help, he should have made sure that his spotter held on the bar and eased the weight down, and then back up.

FKing crazy. Wonder what happened to him. It looks like he doesn't wrap his thumb around the bar. I've seen people doing that, i just dont feel comfortable with it. Dammn, thats painful.

Yeah, my thumbs are always wrapped. Also, whenever I'm benching anything over 250, I use napkins to grip the bar with(I cant use chalk). The napkins work great!

Hell yeah I'm serious. They work great. Awesome for deads too. They last me about 4-6 sets before they're completely shreadded.

Ahh, so no chalk in the gym?

Ok so napkins sounds weird, but the again, it's about moisture so it makes sense - Funny stuff.

hah, he never had a chance to control it. He used a thumbless grip and dropped the bar almost instantly.

Suice grip is always funny.

I know a guy who's done 405 with the suicide raw ,and I was nervous every second.
