I did a bunch of running this summer including tons of uphill running. I lost a little weight from the running and from not much lifting.
Currently, at age 43, I'm at: Bench 315 X 3 (PR: 315 X 10; 335 X 8; 365 X 3; 405 X 1) Squat 365 X 5 (PR: 405 X 10; 365 X ?; 495 X 3) Deadlift (who knows?) (PR 465 X 1) I'm a little frustrated as I'm trying to get my lifts back up but it doesn't come as quickly as when I was in my 30's. I weigh about 205 right now. I seem to enjoy cardio more than lifting these days, which is kind of weird. |

Decided to test my Incline press today. (DB's)
100's x 7 this was after my normal bench work and a set with 95's so im sure i could have pushed more. Either way though... this is by far a pr for me!

I took a vid of me nailing 315x20 a few weeks ago but I think I might've deleted it. No, I didn't vid it - Gold's banned me from videoing when me and Hank were videoing ourselves doing 115s or 120s on db shoulder press. On a different note, on the same day I benched 500 I did 130s on db shoulder press for 5. Fresh, I bet I can do a set of 7-8 with 135s.

Getting them up and in position is by far the hardest part of the lift. If I have a good bud lifting with me (that's strong) He can hand them to me in the starting position. But when you have to pop them up yourself (and even if you get help out of the hole) you're asking for something bad to happen.

New Bench PR today
315 x1 wasn't the smoothest press I've done, but i got i locked it out... Im pretty jacked up about the PR, but even more then that im just glad that my lifts are improving in spite of the cut.
