None the less, pretty good for only 2 months
Actually, it's a relatively new LA Fitness in Valencia

@ trunorth,

yeah, there are two 25s on each side, it's easy to pick up 225 for me, so I put that on, and then I drop it onto the ground and load on 25s so that I don't have to struggle to slide on another 45, it's the best system I've come up w/ so far.

I just use a 10lb plate and lie it flat on the ground and roll the first 45 up on it. now the bar is high enough to slide as many 45s on as you want without struggling.

Well, my whole life I always dreamed of bench pressing my own body weight, and I pretty much never thought I'd get there. I'm doing max next week going for 200lbs but I just thought I'd like to show this one.

Benching 185 @ 186.5lbs

http://video.google.com/googleplayer...11526944&hl=en

I'm pretty happy with how far I've come and I plan to take it a lot farther!

good job on the bench. Fire your spotter though, all he did was supporting the bench instead of u, and then apparently removing his headphone was more important than getting the weights. lol

He just wanted to give me a chance to get the last rep, i really wanted 4, and sometimes I manage to get past that sticking point, there's a great one of me doing decline bench where he's yawning, that one as really funny

I got 175kg (394lbs) for 3 for my DL yesterday - I had a little audience as it's a community gym & not too many people DL in there (full of grandmothers & such) - I had to lift it or I would have looked like a clown (good incentive/motivation anways).

That's a PB for me - I'll try for more reps next time & then I'll up the weight....... 4 plates a side isn't too far away!

I might add... I haven't started using straps for my conventional DL's yet (only for romainian deads where I use a double overhand grip, otherwise my form suffers).
