Default Yet another Newbie

Hi, my name is Bo, and I'm a alcoholic... ooops wrong forum... sorry, anyways, I'm new to the site, I'm 6'3 300lbs, trying to lose 50lbs of fat (not sure how much of my 300lbs is fat, but nonetheless). I don't really want to body build as much as I want to live a healthy lifestlye and have a healthy phisyique... phisique, physique.. (how the hell do you spell that word). Well enough about me, I'm ready to get started with questions... so I'm going browsin' hoping to find information, encouragement, and inspiration from BB.

Hi I'm 27 years old, 140 lbs. I've been scrawny all my life and I'm finally gonna put forth a real effort to change it. For the first time in my life I've changed my diet from junk food junky to a healthier weight gaining diet. I've actually gained about 10 lbs in the first 1.5 weeks (up from130). I spent 5 years in the USAF but even during that time I was a skinny weakling. I've just started taking my workout routine seriously. Jim I'm following your routine as I've read your guide. I beleive now I need to just get my diet a little more refined. As mentioned before, I'm doing a lot better, but I don't have it to where I want it to be just yet. Even though I've been working out for less than a week now, I already feel better in a lot of my muscles.

Cool Raw Baby Rawwww

allllright, I should've done this a week or two ago but n-e-wayz. Wassup ppl, my names uhh odin92681 and I came across this site completly by accident and now I'm hooked. I'm 6'1", 200lbs. Dont really know how much bf i got, but I got enough to cover my abs I'm 24, and havent had a gym membership since I was 18 and had good credit. But I got an Air Force Gym at my leisure now. I hope to learn as much as possible and help out if I can. And purdy muCh GeT DIESEL LIKE A MOFO, and MAKE PEOPLE STARE AT 25INCH ARMS WHILE I'M IN LINE AT THE STORE POSTWORKOUT EATING A T-BONE STEAK.......RAW !!! Just playin, I'm here to be in a forum with people that have a same common interest. Bodybuilding.
I'm also gonna track my progress as well. The only supps i'm taking at the moment are CytoSports' Complete Whey cause of all the BCAA's and the price, and MegaGlutamine. I thinking about stopping my liquid creatine mono due to all the negative reviews. But the bottle is almost gone and I used it like I would powder (I loaded the first week) and let the liquid soak under my tounge pre-workout. I get the buzz same as powder...anywayz you guys'll see me around.

Hey everybody. I'm obviously new...kind of. I've been reading and searching on the site and forums for a little over a year now. I found this site about 3 months after I started lifting and it set me straight. Everything I needed to know, I found here. Its a great site and has helped me out a ton, so I thought it was time to join.

A little about me: I'm 5'7", 18 years old. I've been lifting for 1 1/2 years now. I started at a weak 135 lbs., and now I'm up to 180 and strength has more than doubled in every exercise. Also same fat % now as when I started.

Well, too much water is bad.......but you have to drink a ton for that to be a problem. I drink about a gallon and a half a day which isn't really all that much. I should probably drink more considering I am on creatine.

BTW 5x a week isn't too much as long as you are working a different muscle/muscle group each day. If you are working a muscle (lets say biceps) 5x a week you will get nowhere fast due to overtraining. Try to work each body part once a week. Have an arm day for example. Only focus on bi's and tri's that day, but hit them hard. Then don't work them again until the following week (just an example/ you will hear various opinions on routines). Rest is hugely important to muscle growth.
