Default Muscle Milk

I'm thinking about trying out Cytosport's Muscle Milk to help me gain more body mass, does anybody have any opinions?

I tried it once and didn't like it. Way too sweet. I now drink ABB Whey Force...The vanilla custard is the best. It's a good source of whey protein so it's best in the morning or after a workout. It's also low in carbs.

I agree w/ Rebecca on this one. Though it wasn't the sweetness that got to me it was the digestive issues associated w/ drinking it as a Post Workout drink. I would have diarreha and gas something horrible. ABB stuff is quite palitable and doesn't cause me any distress.

Is there something in particular that you like about Muscle Milk, or are you just looking for a Protein / Amino in general?

Use it with a poor diet to start off with and you'll gain more body fat than you want.

Muscle milk is great stuff. The RTD's taste much better than the powder.

Mitch, you have a diet better than 99% of the ppl here lol. I just wanted to say MM is good for ppl who know what they're eating day-to-day. Not ppl eating McDonalds salads every day and then having a MM-shake.

I have a friend who lifts almost as much as I do (nothing special I know) but he's over 50lbs lighter than me and weighs 130lbs and is my height (5"11') and downs over4k calories but still burns it off. May I'll get him to down MM before bed.

He puts 130lbs on the lat pull down machine, and he can hang off the bar without it budging haha. But then he puts 145lbs, sits down and pulls that **** down.

True, its not a magic bullet. Just like with any supplement if your diet sucks it wont do you a bit of good.

I like muscle milk light, well I actually prefer the regular, but at 350 calories it's a bit much for me, so I use the light.

another vote for the light. The cookies and cream, pb/choco, mint choco and banana creme are the flavors I've liked best. As mentioned, if you chase it with a 32 oz Coke and 1/2 a pizza, you'll continue to gain fat. Its a supplement, to supplement a good diet.

Eat clean with a lot of slow digesting healthy carbs such as brown rice/spaghetti and some yam.

Muscle milk has quite a bit of fat in it and will up your daily intake of fat more than you need it to be depending on what you eat.
