Taylor has a spectacular aura about
Smile Hi Folks - another new guy

Just another new guy on the boards...

About Me:
Male
38 years old
Ectomorph
5' 9"
160 lbs.

I worked out for about 3 years religiously in the mid-90's
Went from being a scrawny 130 lbs. to about 175 lbs. with pretty low BF but
I became somewhat self-destructive for about 10 years....I've just recently decided to get my $*** together, after stepping on a scale and seeing that I was down to 138 lbs.
I started lifting again about mid-April and have brought my weight up to 160 lbs. and maintained a reasonably low BF % (% unknown but guessing around 16).

Short-term goal: add another 15 pounds of muscle by 2008
Long-term goal: add 25+ more and be a brick $***house!

I'm not sure what search I was running (probably supplement related) that led me to this site but I've been lurking for a couple weeks and it seems like you have a pretty nice community going here and I hope I can contribute.

Welcome to the "house"!

Your goals are certainly attainable. Check your diet, eat clean, and lift heavy but wisely. Your already on the right track....

I wish getting my diet in check and eating clean were as easy as typing the words...lol
"I eat clean" and "my diet is good" are things you probably won't see in any post of mine since I don't want to get called on it and have to post my weakness.
I eat better than most people I know but then again, I don't know any bodybuilders personally....My biggest problem is not eating enough...the monotony of a bodybuilder's diet is just too damn much sometimes and I'd almost rather go hungry or at least choke down a protein shake than touch another piece of chicken, can of tuna, etc. etc. etc.

Yes I will say that setting up a diet regime and following it is harder than setting up any workout routine and following that. However, the effects you'll get when the two are combined will be WELL worth the hassel and that's regardless if your cutting, bulking, anything.

Good luck to you.
