Default New Here

Hi everyone my name is Nick, I've been exploring this site for a week or so. I started workin out about 4 months ago to help lose weight for the Navy. I leave April 17th and I am going to be in the nuclear engineering program. Well for the past 4 months I've been workin out 4-5 days a week doing some harcore cardio and swimming. I lost 20 lbs with a semi-strict diet. Well about 6 weeks ago I was forced to quit my job as a projectionist so my day has been pretty open during the week. So I took that extra time to start workin out twice a day. Cardio in the mornings and weights in the evening with a few of my friends. As of right now I am 18 years old 5'7'' 165lbs with 16% bodyfat. Anyone feel free to give me any kind of advice about workouts, nutrition, or if you've served in the military a little advice about that.

Thank you all

welcome Nick!! great job with you wight loss and what an explendid way to use your time off. i am in the navy myself, and i wish you luck in boot camp, it is nothing but a mental game, the hardest thing you do in bootcamp is fold clothes and make your bed. other than that nothing harder than what you have done so far in life...work, respect others, ignore those who have no respect for others, follow orders from people with the authority just like you did in your old job, stuff like that, you will just have to apply all your knowledge and experiences in a whole new way...

good luck and if you have any specific questions, feel free to ask... good luck once again...
