Default Lurker checking in....

Been lurking around the boards for about a month.

I am currently in Iraq - so when I'm not asleep or working, I'm in the gym.

Four months in and I've dropped about 10 pounds - but my strength has gone way up. I'm 38 - so I wasn't expecting to be stronger now than 10 years ago.

Current bench is 285, squat is only 335 (shaky knees) and deadlift is 400.

I'm 2 months from heading home - so I'll be looking to start leaning out - I've got about 20 pounds of fat I need to extinguish.

The boards are loaded with great info - more so than wasting my $5 on a magazine with 80% ads in it and one good article.

Current supplements are just Muscle Milk. BUT - I'm getting ready to start a tub on Optimum Nutrition Whey and going to utilize Methyl Ripped to help burn the fat.

Wee - thanks. I was down to 232 when I did it, back up around 244 right now, but plan to be 220 by the time I do another. Swimming helps drop weight quick for me cause I do bricks on those days. Problem is I can't swim while I'm in Iraq. I'll keep lifting/running while here and once home in April hit the pool and bike hard. My event in 5 June. I have some time.....

Good luck to you too.
