Lightbulb hi all...looking for some help getting started again

hey everyone...was lucky enough to find this forum, hopefully you guys can helpp me out.

i've unfortunately been a lazy bastard over the course of the past few months and have gotten somewhat out of shape. i've began to lose the muscle in my chest and have been feeling a bit "loose" in my chest / "love handles" area.

my build is about averge...i come off as "skinny" to people when clothed but i've lost most of my upper body defintion as a result of drinking at college haha.

what i'm looking to do is attempt to shed a few pounds / lose my "love handles" and get some definition in my chest. i know my arms won't be a problem and my legs usually are fine, but i've always had trouble with my chest / stomach

any suggestions you guys could give me would be greatly appreciated. heres just a few tid bits incase you need them

Age:20
Height: 5'11
Weight: 185ish / 190
Will be working out a gym, all free weights possible + every machine you can imagine. All cardio equipment

Look forward to hearing back from everyone and becoming a regular here on the boards.

What do you mean 'a good schedule' - it's all there!!

Maybe do the weightlifting Mon, Wed & Fri.....do cardio Tues, Thurs & sat.

haha thats all i wanted to know. wasn't what the best way to do it was.

I was reading up on HIIT and might give it a try. One question: I was reading about doing cardio on an elliptical and was wondering if the best method would be 15 minutes on while increasing intervals every 2-3 minutes, let me know what you think. thanks

There are quite a few different suggestions for HIIT out there.

http://www.askmen.com/sports/bodybui...tness_tip.html

http://www.teenbodybuilding.com/justin6.htm

http://www.musclemedia.com/training/hiit_table.asp

I'd just choose one that you're happy with - I'm sure they all do pretty much the same thing.
