Hey everyone, ..ive been using this site for info for a long time just never joined...I have been lifting for a year and a half and unfortunatly havnt really changed at all...tryed bulking and pretty much got a pot belly haha..im trying again though, funny thing is im tall and skinny and having the hardest time getting bigger while my dad used to due competitions as a teen and is jacked as hell , anyways look foward to learning from everyone!!

Give it time man, ul get there. Loose weights, dumbells ect! Pack in the machines if your using them for your upper body

machines are crap compared to free weights. use free weights, their better for you cause ure actually using weight and gravity to work your muscles and also using free weights force you to use more muscles because when using free weights you incorperate "stabilizer muscles" instead of only the main muscle you are trying to work. I personally enjoy dumbells but do use bars once in a while. I try to avoid machines if at all possible but some muscle groups need. I use machines for back (lat pull downs and rows)
