Default Checkin back in.... and jus sayin thanks!!

Hey Guys……

Just writing in again after registering a year ago………

I never post here, as

a) find the forum thing hard writing wise

b) found it hard to add stuff all the time….. as I’ve pretty much been here on a learning capacity

I always check this forum a couple of times a week though for training tips, supplement reviews etc…..

I'm a 25 yr old guy from the UK....

Anyways - my results since getting back into training after a couple of years off
(I used to train loads when I played rugby)

I;ve gone from 36” to 32” waist
(unsure of bodyfat levels - but I can see my top 4 abs for the first time in 2 ½ years!)

My bench has gone up from a wobbly 40kg starting back (poor) to touching 90kg for 3 now - I train all my body parts harder than ever - bench is still the addictive one for measure of strength for me though - dunno why… just the way it goes!!

(it’s insane how much u jump up in the first few months – was flying through the weights the first 6 months)

My weight - after an initial drop from 14 stone to 12 ½, I’m back up to 13st 10

And more than anything - just really loving the training and the results

After asking the advice when I first registered – and got that when u start off, you really need no supplements other than protein…

And I really have found that to be true the amount I improved in the first 6 months – strength and body shape………

It’s sooooo easy to get sucked into the supplement hype…… I used to gun loadsa money when I was in Uni….. and my best results ever are now from eating well….

I can see how it;s addictive though from the young guys points of view... and occasionaly they get flamed here....

The one thing I;ve found that works best – or made the biggest difference since size wise since I;ve been training is:

Tesco Cottage Cheese (big pot - £1.05)
One tin of tune - £0.55

Up to one of these a day – as a snack next to my desk - I just chow on this all day but still eat my regular meals and take my shakes

I eat **** loads of the stuff…… plus my diet is better than ever now - I really have found that is the one thing that has made the biggest difference…. I can even tell now if I spend a week not eating well…. Even if I take my supps……

oh - that and training properly regularly - get your routine and stick to it....
- I;ve had sooo much more better results by actually sticking to my training rather than being all over the place, missing some training here, cramming there......

Anyways.... just wanted to hop back in and say cheers for the points of advice I read here..... and always come on here if I'm wondering about some facts or other.........

and hope to try post here a bit more.....!!

One of my favorite meals is taking chicken breast, bowling it till its done, cook some brown rice and mix cottege cheese in with the rice, then mix in the chicken (various spices... no sauces *high fructose corn syrup = bad*) portioning it out for 2-3 days, having 4 servings of that stuff a day and usually 2 protein shakes mixed with either gatorade or if i have dextrose or just plain sugar or w/e cuz im in college and mad broke.

gotta love watchin ur body change, congrats dude.
