gettingstated is on a distinguished road
Smile body fat %

I am female. I am 5'5 and 116 lbs and want to change my lifestyle. After about 10 years of realizing that a "diet" is not the way. I realized I needed to change my entire life. A friend approached me about a figure competition in about 3 months. So all you fitness pros out there, will 3 months be enough time? My body fat is approx. 18%. What is the recommended comp. percent? Will I be able to get there in 3 months or is my goal not attainable at all? I understand the eating plan which is lots and lots of lean protein. I have purchased supplements such as liver pills and understand that I need to do lots of cardio. If I am willing to give it 100%, can I get low enough to compete with embarrassing myself? Thanks!!!!

its not so much lean protein, its more about the total calories you take in. you can try HIIT work outs (there was a thread with a link somewhere, go search for it)

Bump ^^^ scope out the HIIT routines, you should be able to reach that goal realistically, if you are on a strict diet and you stay on the HIIT routine. Good luck and welcome to the board
