After a workout, around 48 hours later you will be sore as hell.
You can get DOMS from doing any new lifts your body hasnt done before. Also, a poor diet can cause them if you're still getting DOMS after doing a routine for a while.
No matter what, it's normal and expected to be sore after a workout, even 48 hours later, but DOMS is when you are sore as HELL.
