Doh, found it. Why I wrote in the back of the book, I'll never know. On looking again it's been probably about 2 months or so.

Well, I took tuesday off because I just felt like my body couldn't take it and later that night just crashed. Apparently I'd been getting sick again and caught some sort of summer flu. Yesterday was another "lie in bed and hope to die" day. Still feel like garbage today.

On an interesting note, I watched all 5 Rockies... Not the 6th cuz it wasn't on the free to watch On Demand.

Ok, so I might as well track my diet for today (doing some HIIT after work since the gym is closed).

7am- 3 hard boiled eggs, 1/2 cup oatmeal, coffee (could have been better but I'm still not feeling great)
10-11am- nursed an ON Pro Complex and some peanuts
1:30pm- lunch: 1 cup turkey chili (low fat) with 4 oz shredded chicken breast mixed in (kinda accidentally discovered this last night as I was looking for something to bring today and 2 cups 2% milk (no skim)
Home 5:30ish- 15-25 mins HIIT (we'll see how hard I can push myself)
After: 1 scoop ON Pro complex, 3 oz grilled chicken

And then I'm going out for lobster and crab for my birthday, (in-laws are taking me out early). Hell yeah.

Tomorrow I'm getting my much delayed pull on.

Meant to update this with a new PR.

DLs- 375x 1, woot

I probably could have gotten more but I didn't want to push it too hard (personally, I thought it likely that I was gonna sh*t myself if I tried more). I was going to update this regularly with my workouts but I think I'm just gonna update it with PRs from now on. It's too much of a pain in the ass to update regularly and it seems like everytime I try to do this regularly I either a) hurt myself or b) get sick. It's like the curse of the forum log. Oh well, anyways, gonna try for some Bench PRs soon.

Updates: I've switched workout styles. I'm hitting 2 complimenting body parts a day usually with compounds only and trying to reduce the amount of rest between sets (I still lift very heavy on the big 3 tho, I take as much rest between these as seems necessary) I'm going moderately heavy on the cardio and watching my diet pretty tightly (actually I'm eating more). I've got some Xtend on the way since I'm starting to worry about whether my muscle mass is going to hold while I'm trying to lose some weight (still making progress on the weights but doesn't mean I can't take precautions.)

Hit a new PR on squats a few times so far, up to 275x5 fresh. Sunday was legs and I went to workout with a few buddies of mine (one's an O- lineman, the other is a local BB'er so I expected craziness), we ended up doing what they called widowmakers (squats with relatively heavy weight x15-20) and my legs feel torn up. I didn't think I'd ever feel this sore again but I guess I was proven wrong... again...

Bench is up to 225x5 tho last time I tried I hadn't gotten a proper pre workout meal so I could barely handle 205x5 (we all make mistakes, just gotta try and get that nutrition in from now on).

Deads are up to 405x 3 so far.

My chest is lagging behind my other lifts' progress. Oh well, I may have to tweak it to work it a tad harder (vary my grip on the bar, etc).

I like this style of working out as opposed to just doing a bunch of random sh!t.

I was doing Madcow for a while but I didn't like how inflexible it was. I liked the progress but IMO I could have been making the same progress if I just worked around the big 3 and busted my ass. So I'll head into the gym now and decide I'll do legs and incorporate another big 3 (usually bench) and then work lower back (weighted hypers, good ams).
Biceps will go with upper back and deads of course and normally I'll do either squats or bench BEFORE doing deads (my reasoning behind this is that deads seriously tire me, enough that I'd rather fail on a dead and drop the bar than fail on a squat or bench and drop the bar with no spotter).
Chest of course will go with shoulders and tris but I'll usually throw in a deadlift or squat along with it. Either way, I'm trying to ensure that I do each of the big 3 twice a week.
I don't really plan out what I do either, I just know what muscle groups I'm going to be focusing on when I go in and I know which 2 of the Big 3 I want to do while there.

Lol, I can't even see what that is (work blocks image shack). I'm not sure what made me decide on this name either... I just wanted to find his angry face. I need to see Short Circuit again, I love that movie.

A good 35 minutes of pretty intense cardio yesterday (it was intervals because I couldn't keep my instensity going for the entire time). I'm not going for Horseman levels of cardio yet (45 days of wtfpwn cardio all while carrying a house, followed by a meal of grilled baby and steamed souls, etc.).

For dinner yesterday I tried something new, I rinsed some 92/8 ground beef to be as lean as possible grilled a big slab of it on the foreman, saute'd the rest in a nonstick pan with garlic powder, chopped onion, and cayenne pepper and threw some fat free cheese on top and wrapped them up in some mission carb balance tortillas. It was a tad dry (I didn't use a whole lot of cheese and there was not a lot much fat present) but with a tiny bit of ketchup it was actually pretty damn good. Anyway, I'm pretty sure it was about 6 ounces soooo... there ya go.

Later today, chest and deads.

Typically, but during prep, I'm not messing with Shiner. For some reason, I think it'd raise my test levels too much and I'd fail the drug test.

If you want a good spice mix that I use pretty much on everything I cook, I mix this in a seperate shaker: Kosher salt (you don't need a lot as it's like sea salt), cayenne pepper, pepper, onion powder, garlic salt, season salt, and paprika. I don't do measurements so each time i mix it its spicer or not as spicy and has a slightly different taste but it goes well on everything...even eggs, rice, veggies. If you like spicy things.
