Yea man, interval training is what got me my consistent losses. After I hit my most recent plateau, I'd lose a few tenths every few days, but after I picked up HIIT I've been dropping .2-.4 per day pretty consistently.

Regardless, keep it up (and check your e-mail )

Started a new routine last nite.

Monday, Feb 19, 2008
Week One - Day One: Chest

5 min treadmill @ 3.5mph
10 push-ups
flat bench - 1x10@135

flat bench BB - 3x7@185, 1x6@185 (3-4 min rest. could not do another each time)
flat bench DB - 3x15@35, 1x15@40 (2 min rest. my triceps were dying before my chest, and I did an extra set on accident. I will up the weight next time)
incline DB - 2x8@50 (my chest was so dead from the previous two that I could barely do this. it felt strange, like mentally, I knew that I could, but physically, my body was telling my I shouldn't be able. my mind won)
peck-deck flys - 2x8@120 (superset with incline db. 30 sec rest between supersets)

30 min treadmill with 12 min interval training
(thats just interval training, not HIIT)

Give me a quick rundown on your entire routine (the new one).

Do you dead lift? LOL - just read that pm you sent me. I hadn't gone through them in a while, so sorry for not resonding. I wasn't ignoring you.

Week One - Day Three: legs

Stretch
5 min treadmill @ 3.5mph
1x10@135 (Squats)

Squats - 2x8@225; 1x6@275
Leg Press(singles) - 2x10@135
ss> Leg Ext - 2x10@75
ss> Ham Curls - 2x10@60
Walking Lunges - 1x13 (I could barely walk normal after these. More like a hobble.)

20min easy cardio
That cardio saved my life. The first 5 minutes were torturous, but after, I could walk normal again!
