Yea man, I'd love to see them too. I feel like we've gone through a very similar journey and our bodies are also similar except for the fact that you are naturally bigger/stronger than myself.

You've come a really long way man, seriously be proud.

Things have gotten harder for you lately, but don't let it get the best of you!

Ehh every crappy thing that happends just fuels my need to get up in the morning and go push around a bunch of heavy weights... so i guess it all kind of works out.

03/28 Chest / tris

Weight: 206lbs

Good day, first day of spring break, no stress... plenty of energy!

BB Bench press
135 x warm
185 x warm
255 x 7 x 1
255 x 5 x 2
Felt a little twinge right were my outer peck connects to my armpit on the first rep here, bothered me a bit, but i just cautiously pushed through it. Didn't get any worse / better really. Just a real slight strain im guessing.
255 x 4 x 1
225 x 8 x 1

BB incline press
225 x 8 x 1
225 x 6 x 2
225 x 4 x 1

Incline DB flys (i don't know why, but these felt really easy/good today)
60's x 8 x 1
60 x 7 x 1
60 x 5 x 1
60 x 4 x 1

Weighted dips (i love the strange looks i get from people when im holding a 50lb DB between your knees!!! LOL)
+50 x 10 x 3
+50 x 8 x 1

DB overhead tri extentions
80 x 8 x 2
80 x 6 x 2

DB kick backs
40 x 10 x 4 per arm

Cardio: 25mins on treadmill 14.0 incline 3.3mph

Overall i have to say im really happy with how things have been going lately, my numbers are right back to where they were 60lbs ago before i started the cut, in fact many of them are well above...

next on the list is to get a serious ab routine mixed into my WO's... i know nothing about working abs.

04/02 Chest / shoulders / tris

Weight: 206

Same lame chest injury from last week popped up again today. Basically ruined the WO so there inst much to report.

I guess the day wasn't a total waist though...

found one of my younger buddies there and used what time i had left to coach him up on a few of his lifts.

Hey man, your progress is awesome. And if you think those are love handles you've got a problem lol.

I just took a quick look at your back day, were you going heavy on deads or was it a light day? More weight, less reps, more sets.

Haha, thanks man... but trust me, if i ever post a back pic you will see that there is quite a bit of love handle back there lol.

as far as the deads, im actually working my way back up to heavier deads. I gave myself a nasty lumbar strain a few months doing them, i could lift the weight... but i didn't have the form or core strength to support it.

So basically now im just going agonizingly slow trying to work my way back up the proper way.

Bro, why don't you take your recuperation now since you're injured? Take a couple weeks off from lifting and give your body a rest. You've been going strong for awhile now haven't you?

I come from a sports background, its just part of my mindset to want to "push though" little tweaks and aches...

That being said, I do give myself at least week off every couple of months, i suppose now might be as good a time as any to get another in.

My plan "was" to go get a leg/back/bi day in tomorrow (thinking none of those should bother this particular injury much) but still skip my next press day this coming Monday.

That would mean i wouldn't press again until next Friday and hopefully whatever this is might mend up by then. Also, it was foolish of me to jump right back into the heavy presses yesterday... next time i need to use a little more brain and a little less muscle.

*Ok... ok... i know i said i was going to take a break but I let my diet go to hell over the weekend and i just felt like i had to get in and at least do something!

Did decide however to avoid the heavier stuff today... focused more on just burning everything with a lot of reps.

Weight: 205lbs

Reverse Grip BORs
135 x 12
155 x 10
165 x 8 x 2

Tbar Rows
150 x 8 x 3

Lat PD
215 x 10
215 x 8
215 x6

EZ bar Preacher curl
90 x 11
90 x 9
90 x 8
80 x 8

Seated Incline bench DB curl
30's x 10
30's x 8
25's x 8

DB Preacher curl
30 x 8
30 x 6
25 x 8

Standing Cable Crunch
60 x 12-15 x 4 sets

Seated Crunch machine
130 x 12-15 x 4 sets

Standard sit up
10-12 x 4 sets

Gotta get my core up to speed with the rest of me... tired of it holding me back!

Glad to know I'm not the only one whose guilt often gets the best of them. Haha. I've often had a late night snack of carb related nature when I shouldn't have. I generally end up getting up and running a mile instead of going to sleep, lol.
