12-21-07 Shoulders / bi's/ Legs

Weight: 220lbs!
Excited about this for 2 reasons, one being that it puts me close to the 50lb mark, and the other is that i can actually eat over the holiday and not feel to bad about it!

Seated Mili press
135 x warm
185 x 8 x 2 sets (felt strong today)
185 x 5 x 1
185 x 4 x 1

Front / side delt raise supersets
30's x 8 x 4 sets

Oly BB curl
75 x 8 x 4 sets

DB preachers
30's x 6 x 4 sets

DB Hammer curl
45's x 8 x 3 sets

Leg presses
270 x warm
535 x 8 x 3 sets

Standing leg curl
70 x 10 x 3 sets

Had some spare energy left so i garbed some 50lb DB's and did 15mins of stairs.

Cardio: Treadmill, 30mins, 13.0 incline, 3.2mph

I wasn't trying to puff up my numbers, I actually conceeded that you were doing better than me. Can you not read? Seeing as you're intent on being a prick though I'll drop some numbers to make you feel like the weak prick you really are. I am currently repping on 97.5kg for bench and repping on 42.5kg dumbells for incline bench. I weight 64kg. Suck on that for a power to weight ratio, loser. Sure, alot of members around here can beat that but you can't so go have yourself a guilt-protein-shake and a carrot stick for dinner.
Why does everyone have to argue about things like this and boast about who is better?? I see a lot of it on here. Everyone has different goals for themselves and are at different stages in the iron game. Nice work BigMikeD, u have something to be proud of this Christmas and I've been watchin your log for some time now. Sunny, you've come a long way as well, I think Mike was probably looking for more constructive advice coming from you other than just posting how much you lift in his log. No offense, but what you lift is kind of irrelevant if you intended to offer solid advice.

Ya you pretty much hit it right on the head, and thanks for keeping tabs on the log!

Also, it should be said that I always appreciate good advice whenever anyone wants to offer it... but I don’t see how going around to other peoples logs and posting you're own numbers is supposed to be helpful. Am I wrong?

Hey Sunny,

You ever get that tapeworm and Bolemia under control, bud?

Who gives a f*ck about flyes at all? Especially what weight he's doing with them after benching...

I just saw this - is there something wrong with this kid? LOL - power to weight ratio. Kind of funny that he used the term "POWER" (which is strength x speed) - don't see any correlation to power and repping bench press at all...

Let me break this down for you... Regardless of how much you're benching, you weigh 140lbs. Dude, no offense, but you're small. Plain and simple. I'm not saying your goal is to be huge, but just in case you didn't realize it, you aren't.

Nonetheless, if you can bench more than twice your weight (as you get up over 200lbs) then you can talk. By the way, since you're in to stats, here's one: I db incline bench dbs that weigh 20 more lbs than you (each db). Oh, and for sets of 8-10 reps...

Power to weight ratio... bwhahahahahahaa

@ "Big" Mike:

Oh well! Will you look at that! I highlighted the two pieces of feedback in bold seeing as your comrpehension skills also seem to be lagging. I just chucked in my own stats, which I admitted were worse than yours and in a way complimented you, for the sake of discussion. You know... with this being a discussion based forum and all.

@ muscletnx:

Again, notice the bit in bold. I don't really care what you press because I've only been doing weights seriously for six months and I've already seen decent strength gains. I was just putting "Big" Mike - who you all want to tounge down, apparently - in his place because his stats are **** and he was being a dickweed to me.

Having a Penis > Incline #'s

but to each their own...

You obviously didn't read post #88...

...don't worry I won't post again if you don't respond to this. If you expect me not to defend myself you've got another thing coming.

P.S. I'd rather have a pussy than the sorry excuse for a wang you have. Luckily for me, though, I have a dick. Unlike you, however, mine isn't on my forehead.

STOP THE PRESSES!!!
Breaking news, a new genetically mutative disease that cause penis growths on foreheads has been discovered by doctors today. Doctors have noted that too many whey shakes, creatine cycles and soy milk in the bodybuilding community is the primary cause of this epidemic.

-

Having a dick on your forehead, imagine getting sucked off, it would bring new meaning to the term "getting head". LOL I make myself laugh sometimes.

argh! havent been keeping up on the log for the last week or so.

Actually i got 4 days in this week which was nice, cut each WO down to like an hour and a half. Next week i should be able to do the same... but unlike this week ima try to go into it with a bit more of a plan.

Mon
BB Flat press
DB Incline press
Incline Flys
Dips
BB Rows
Lat PD
Pull ups

Tues
Mili Press
DB Side / Front raises
BB Curl
DB Preachers
DB hammer curl
Squats

Weds
Offffffff

Thurs
BB incline press
DB Flat press
Incline Flys
Dips
DB Rows
CG lats
Pull ups
Maybe some direct Tri work, after all the pressing sometimes it just feels like a waist of time.

Friday
NO MORE ****ING SHOULDER WORK PLEASE!
BB Preachers
Hammer Curl
Some sort of concentration curl
Forearm stuff
Deads (still undecided on these, i know how awesome they are but that fear of hurting my back again is pretty hard to get past.)

back at it...

01/07 Chest/back/abs
Weight: 216/17

Flat BB Press
185 x warm
245 x 8 x 1

245 x 6 x 1
225 x 8 x 1

DB incline press
90 x 6 x 2
90 x 5 x 1
90 x 4 x 1

*Noticed that over the last few weeks my numbers have dropped a bit. I'm attributing this to the cutting iv'e been doing. Really going to start mashing the protein down and see if i cant get back to where i was 40lbs or so ago.

Incline DB Flys
45 x 8 x 2 sets
45 x 6 x 2 sets

BB Rows
135 x warm
175 x 8 x 2 sets
175 x 6 x 2 sets

Wide Grip Lat PD
220 x 8 x 3 sets
220 x 6 x 1

Standing Cable crunch
110 x 15 x 3 sets
125 x 12 x 1

Decline sit up
15 x 2 sets

30 mins on treadmill, incline: 13.0 speed: 3.2mph

135 x warm
185 x 8 x 1
185 x 6 x 3 sets

Side Delt raises

35's x 6 x 4 sets

Z-bar preacher curl / Standing DB Curl Supersets
Zbar:70 x 8 x 4 sets
DB's:30's x 8 x 4 sets

DB Hamma! curl
45's x 8 x 4 sets

Light Deadlift
*Made up my mind that I want to do these, and if i get my lower back into proper shape there is no reason why i cant!
The plan is to go supper light for now, i will add a small amount of weight every two weeks in hopes of slowly bringing my back up to par and avoiding anymore injury's!
135 x 8 x 4 sets (starting from scratch...)

01/10 Chest/Tris/Shoulder (starting next week)

Weight: 216 solid

Flat BB Press:
*Trying new bench format today a la Musclesntx
185 x Warm
275 x 3 x 3 index finger 1in inside ring
275 x 3 x 3 finger on ring
275 x 3 x 3 finger outside ring (maybe 1/2-1in)
*Felt really good... i think ill give this an extended trial and see how it goes. Surprisingly I was able to push every rep clean, only used a spot for the very last set of wide grip work.

DB incline presses
95's x 8 x 1
95 x 6 x 1
95 x 6 x1
*Shoulders were pretty blasted at this point, decided not to push with another set.

DB Incline Flys
50's x 8 x 1
50 x 6 x 1
Shouldn't have even tried these...

Rope Tri push downs
175x8x3 sets

T-bar Tri push down
185 x 8 x 2 sets

Did some weighted hyper extensions and then decided to call it a day. Very happy with the new benching though...
