Default Warriors Journal

my squat day got canceled due to the new job i had a trial for. and missed chest day on purpose to let the supercissus kick in and help it heal. btw, after 4days i felt less pain in my shoulder and could tell a difference.

DLs (tried sumo)

80x7 (WU)
100x6 (WU)
130x4
130x5
135x4
135x3

thought i wouldve been able to pull more as i can do those numbers with convential normally. o well, just goes to show that my glutes, hips do need more work so this should help with my squats as well.

yates style rows(palms facing out)
65x6
75x5
75x5

face-pulls
36x6
55x5
55x5 (PB)

bb curls
40x8 (up in reps)
40x6

decent workout today. just want to work back up to where i was before my 2-3 month lay off.

--------------

took some measurements before i went to the gym.

all cold and relaxed:
chest: 44"
neck: 16.5"-18" (wasnt sure where to take it from, but they were the 2 measurements i got at different places)
shoulders: 51"
biceps/arms: 15.5"
forearm: forgot, but its around 12"-13"
abdomen/waist: at belly-button 42" (, put on 1-2" on my time off and from easter, sigh lol)
smallest (taken 1-2" higher): 39"
thighs (6" above knee): 24.5"
calves: 17.5"

depending on what scales i go on, 105-108kg's (thats 231-237.6lbs)
bf: id say from 20-25%. im not to good at estimating. plan on throwing some pics up soon.

bf is of obvious concern, but not my main priority atm. most ppl dont see me is 'fat', and i definitely dont look overweight.

thats all for now .

that was like a 20 min. workout. Where are the rest of the exercises... lat pulls, chin ups, BB rows, cable rows, reverse flys.. Let's get the Warrior working now

i rest to long inbetween my DL sets. that workout was actual 45mins, i know, i took to long. lol. ive found that i respond better to this low volume, but its still high intensity. im gonna add another set or 2 of DLs, and i wonna through in some chin-ups as well.

lol, yea they're all in kgs. shouldve mentioned that. so multiply everything by 2.2 and u get a rough amount in lbs.

and i will take my quads at top when i get home.

im not playing rugby this year unforunately. the coach is a c0ckhead and was barely giving me any time, he just didnt like me.

on the other hand, i got a Trainers position for the Gold Coast Rep. Team. So im now training a representative team for my city, very happy .

my upper quad was 28.5", cold/relaxed.

im supposed to do chest today but i had to go to CentreLink (gov. institute) and then had lots of work to do at uni. after uni im quickly shooting over to train one of the teams im associated with (the rep team tonite), as soon as thats finished i got a meeting. meeting came up last minute so im going to push my chest day to tommorow, and im going to have to do legs with it as friday-sat-sun is out of the question . i wanted to do some cardio tomorrow...o well.

well i finally got to the gym. i was meant to go last nite but got called into work til late, and besides i ended up having to shovel a lot of concrete (there was 2 tones of the stuff stuck in the machine, so had to get it out quick ) so going to the gym was the last thing on my mind...

unfortunately my gym had to take a backseat to the horde of assignments/papers i had due, as well as my coaching/trainer responsibilities, and trying to please the jobs i have .

its not all over (i got a whole lot of new assignments to do) but the Rep. season is almost over so i'm going to have a little more time.

ne ways, im not going to worry about numbers that much ne more, or weight, measurements etc, gonna leave all that at and just do my thing .

back & bi's

DLs
80kgx8
100x6
125x6
125x4
125x5

bent-over bb rows
60x6
60x5
60x6

face pulls
50x8
59x5

bb curls
40x8
40x8

not bad for getting back into it. the rows felt good and it actually felt like it was doing something which was a change. i know it was a short one, but most things were taken and it is the first one back in a while so i wasn't to worried about going to hard just yet .

although im not worried about numbers to much, i will still keep putting them up as more of a baseline to improve on next time.
