So, I get dressed in my car. lol Guess I am lifting @ lunch. Not like anyone is here today anyway.
Bastards! You think theyll be open later today or do you go somewhere else?

They open @ 10. I might go at lunch (about 30 minutes) or after work. Plus, I don't think anyone will be in the gym, so I can vid some stuff. Nite asked for a vid of ATG Squats.

I actually went after work. Holy sh*t was it crowded (no vids Nite, sorry). I hate going after work, especially with all the people starting up after New Year's. lol

So, I did a little bit. Will train again Friday. Hopefully - next week will be back to normal. Since I am not competing in January, I am not too worried about getting my numbers up as high as I can. Plus, another v-ball league starts next week. Sweet!

I did a push/pull/light legs (since I missed push on Monday, being a holiday).

Flat Smith Bench (kids hogging the normal bench)
230 x 12 x 3
- not counting the bar, apparatus - two 45s, one 25.

Reverse Grip Bench - Smith
180 x 8 x 3
225 x 4 x 1

Full Clean & Press
135 x 12 x 2
185 x 6 x 1
205 x 3 x 1
225 x nope....

Conv. Deads
135 / 225 / 315 x warm
405 x 6 x 1
455 x 2 x 1
475 x 1 x 2
495 x 1 x 2

ATG Paused Squats
225 x 15 x 3
- this were painful as sh*t and very deep. Less than 6" from the floor - which is very low, since I am 6'2".

Rack Deads
495 x 4 x 1
515 x 3 x 1
545 x 1 x 1
565 x fail
- need to buy a belt (don't even own one anymore). I would have liked to push this out and even go higher, but I didn't want to f*ck up my back. I hate using a belt, but when going near failure like this, it is probably wise to use one.

- Wanted to do SLDLs and Front Squats, but there is only 1 rack in this gym and I had used it for over an hour. People were standing around waiting for it.

Hips
stack x 15 x 3

Rope Crunches
180 x 12 x 3

Pull Throughs
180 x 10 x 3

Pretty spent by this time - on the way home, realized I forgot to do calves. lol - I have a new log book for the new year, so I wasn't able to look back at the previous session.

Oh man, the food was excellent. We ate @ Chef Mickey's, Ohana's, Parkview (I think) @ the Grand Floridian Hotel, and the Rainforest Cafe. Everything was great - pricey, but very good food. I must have gained 10 pounds of fat. lol - hence, the bloated look in my pics.

1/5/2007 - Legs

ATG Squats
warm-up
225 x 20 x 5
315 x 8 x 1

SLDLs
225 x 12 x 2
315 x 6 x 1

- That was it.....wasn't really feeling it today and had a ton of stuff on my mind. Was doing cardio after and was getting very pissed at myself for leaving the gym and upset at the situation/some news I got yesterday from the Doc. Anyway, then a good song came on my mp3 player and I realized that everyday is a gift and why b*tch and moan about things out of your control? My family is too important for that, which is why I train so early in the morning. Don't know what is going to happen, but I will just continue to cherish everyday I have with them.

Ice cold shower and off to work.

Out.

No, but the last two sets I was near blackout (tunnel vision, etc). Fun stuff. 225 x 20 x 5 is my normal cadence for the 100-rep squat madness.

You should try it some time dude. The best part is if there is no one in the gym when you start and some dudes come in on your last set or two. They see me (a fairly big guy) struggling bigtime with 225 (not too mention, barely able to breathe from lack of Oxygen). Normally they just shake their heads and keep walking. lol

Ok, suppose I better update this.

I won't be training for a while - probably around 6 months, if things go like last time. Would rather not get into details, but some of you know what happened a few years ago.

I will still be around on the boards to pass the time and get through the monotony of the routine. When I get back, it will be time for a bulk, cause I will be a skinny mofo.

Would appreciate this log not getting deleted due to inactivity, but if it does, I will just create a new one.
