Hey fag,

Nice work. I was just rack benching last night (bottom up). People don't understand the difficulty of staring a bench in mid-range from a total dead weight.

On the jump squats, I might recommend doing them on a hack squat machine... Land with some flex in your legs. coil, and repeat...

Try it out and give me a report. Trust.

I do not do shrugs... lol

I don't always mind posting pics, but I have a simple reason why I don't like it: I don't want people trying to do what I do just because of how I look. I do some off the wall, uncoventional sh!t. I want people to learn what they need to do and why they need to do it and go from there. I hate the attitude that "Well, Jay Cutler does this so it must work". That sh!t drives me crazy. It's basically the same logic that would say that the top 10 Olympia competitors know more about how to change the body than anyone else in the world, and in reality, most of them don't have a clue (not all, some are actually knowledgeable). It's like when you're in high school football and you just start lifting - the kids always gravitate toward the big brother that is cut and all and whatever he says must work. They forget about other factors like genetics, anabolics, hard work or whatever.

Me and JLO hung out one weekend and he's a thick dude. By looking at his numbers, I have no reason to doubt that what he says is accurate - his frame would definitely support these lbs. I've seen Vadge on his vids training with Pinder, and he's a monster... We all 3 train in a very similar manner, and I train several clients with the same principles (not all, most aren't ready). IMO, it's no coincidence that we're all 3 fairly strong guys. Granted, I think all 3 of us were fairly strong before we started lifting, but we all 3 make very similar progress when we're trying to.

I've always been strong/explosive for my size. Hell, I could dunk when I was 5'7" (an example). I can't remember NOT being able to leg press 700lbs (even when I was very young) - strength has always been easily attainable for me.

Yessum - rack bench is no joke.

I'll def try out those jump squats on a machine. It was a little "interesting" to say the least with a BB. Couple questions on those....
- How heavy would you go?
- What rep range would you do starting out?
- How deep should I go on decent?

Partials in a rack (similar to rack deads). Bottom up refers to starting each rep at a dead stop on the bar.

If you go look at Boyd's log, he records the ROM (6", 8", 12", whatever).

What's the benefit of rack bench - is it just for variation?

- It helps to break past sticking points in full ROM bench. That is why you train from different distances. A simliar technique you see PLers do is use boards on your chest to touch (2-board, 3-board, etc).
- You can really load on the plates and get yourself ready for more weight.
- Doing them bottom up is just killer.....it is hard to explain until you try it out. If you have trouble with getting momentum at the bottom, it will help.

Feb-March?

On the hacks, it really depends on you. Start with about 90 and just see what is comfortable. You can probably handle much more, but think about landing with that much weight on your knees. It's dangerous. I probably wouldn't go much higher than 180-230lbs...

Haven't had a chance to update this, because I have been busy as hell down here. Besides that, we go out every single night after work, so........

I did bench and deads a couple days ago at a Gold's down the street. First time I have trained half lit too........had a few too many Chimay beers @ dinner.

Will update as time permits - perhaps this weekend.

Squats tomorrow.

DAYUM BRO ur fooking diesel, but, I already seen that pic. How bout some full body/ back/ wheel shots? Don't worry I am not gay, just a bb'er interested in physiques with such crazy numbers. I would'nt worry about anyone trying to do what you do, there is enough Flex, Muscular Developments, and Musclemags floatin around with ghost articles of IFBB pro's routines for these other people to try and follow . I don't doubt your size, just curious cuz you are a board member and not some d!ckhead pro.

I feel you on the ability to dunk, I am 5'6" and I was bashin on fools back in my light-weight days. I was a pretty sick azz gymnast too, but it's irrelevant if I told you I was a good cook.

But I definately wanna see the wheels if you were pressin 700lbs before you were outta diapers. That's just amazingly sick.

Sorry for hijacking your sh!t JLO. Keep bangin bro.
